I was at my desk deep in RBR edits, and like many of you have tabs open about cars I day dream about buying. Mine showed all GT3s available at Porsche retail and, on that fateful Friday this gem came up! The spec, is a petrolheads wet dream - green over tan. You’re going to love it! :)
I’ll go over all the Spec talk - discussing the various Greens of Porsche, from British Racing green, oak green metallic to this Porsche Racing Green Metallic car! And the Spec inside is even better, cohiba brown with green stitch! Sounds weird but wait till you see it!
I’ll also fill you in on plans to make this a 4 seat GT3, adding back the rear bench to the car. Then we will head off for a First drive, and get the car home for a reunion with the Spyder RS at the end!

What a gorgeous colour and interior combo. Congratulations. I discovered if you lift out the centre cup holder there is space below to store the car key which doesn't then impact on the drinks storage.

I had a Porsche Racing Green over tan 997.2 Carrera S in 2009. It was the "launch edition" in the US - every dealer got one. It was the debut of the PDK transmission in the US. Gorgeous car, and every Porsche I've owned since then has been a PDK. (Bad right ankle injury from skydiving many years ago has prevented me from ever being able to heel and toe worth a damn. The PDK was a Godsend for me.)

Congrats on great colour choice! I have a PRGM GT4 RS. Only two world wide in that colour (4RS). Hit the colour with white light, it show blueish, on clowdy day it appears almost black and in sun light it is just beautiful bright but still deep green. Best Porsche colour ever, agreed.

Absolutely you MUST go with the Houndstooth on the seats and the door-cards. I love the idea of adding the rear seats but if the front buckets don't fold, would that be a safety issue for your kids in the rear? Fingers crossed that your man has a solution.

The Green stitch really makes it look exclusive. You should do a green accent seat insert hounds tooth or even an old school plaid. congratulations beautiful girl PS gold wheels would be ok, but maybe aftermarket don’t paint the originals.

A lovely exhaust upgrade from JCR for these. I’ve just added the titanium tips and valve delete kit, makes a really noticeable but subtle difference / improvement. Particularly where the valves are forced shut under 4k and as soon as you lift off the accelerator you get noise where you didn’t before. Lovely car 👏🏻.

I hve the Jcr without the titanium tips, do they make a difference in sound or is it mainly for cosmetic ?

@@adjrasta9365 I’m running stock OEM muffler on the GT3 just the JCR valve delete kit and titanium megaphone tips. No JCR backbox / muffler. The stock OEM tips are actually quite restrictive, so the megaphone tip alone makes a decent difference. If you’re running the full JCR GT3 system I don’t think the titanium tips will make any difference. I have a full JCR titanium valved system on my GT4 but wanted to try a slightly more subtle sound increase on the GT3. I’m really pleased with it, cost about £1.5k for titanium tips and valve delete kit and fitted in couple hours at Alexander’s Prestige here in UK.

The Irish Green snap you have on the video is actually a BRG.. and the BRG snap is I think an Irish Green. PRG is described as metallic version of BRG by Porsche dealers; regardless a gorgeous color!

Exactly. I have this car in the silver, in manual with the carbon buckets like his and the buckets don't fold forward. Really sucks. So.... I'll be interested to see how he does this without changing out the seats. Otherwise, nice car.

“Petrolhead and driver’s car wet dream.” GT3 has PDK… First of all huge congrats on absolutely amazing spec of a Touring, Porsche Racing Green is in my top5 PTS Colours. Second, I respect that you can prefer PDK I don’t judge anyone, but come on driver’s and petrolhead’s spec is 100% GT3 with 6MT. I would pick freaking pink GT3 Touring with manual instead of PDK one in my dream PTS colour, especially considering you already own PDK car Spyder RS which is sadly PDK only.
