It's expensive caloric wise and time wise for snakes to make their own venom. Usually when they bite they do so without vemon (at least for defense). And they also avoiding biting non prey. They only bite when they feel threatened.

Pretty essential when you're off the trail. Lots of cottonmouths, which aren't aggressive but if you step on one or otherwise agitate it, it will bite and their venom is pretty deadly. With bare feet, you can feel what you're about to step on so you can pick your foot back up before crushing a snake you don't want to piss off.

No need to be afraid man! These spiders isn't even poisonous we catch this alot and sell it. We often let other spider to fight each other😂. If a filipino guy found a huge one like that. It will start like this... *Grab an empty matches box *Catch it *Put it in the box *Keep it *Find another one and let them fight😂 *Or easier sell it to some children(only on Philippines) We called this species here 'damang/gagamba' u can search it for proof this spider are harmless and doesn't even bite if u can handle them properly. I like how in some country is afraid of huntsman spider in my country this spiders are weak😂. But tho some of them are poisonous so... No risking catching one. Btw do not be afraid of species like this just grab ur shoes/slipper and slap it easily! Trust me❤
