Yeah, and because of that i bent my top cover

Was able to fix the dead keys on my keyboard with this, by re-seating the keyboard ribbon cable. Great stuff

is it possible to purchase a new keyboard from some sort of HP store or something? do 3rd party sellers sell replacements? My problem is that some keys (specifically A,S,D,K,L sometimes don't register and it seems that i have to click them for about 5 seconds each until they begin registering again. Could it simply be that the connections of the keyboard are dirty and interfering with the inputs of certain keys, and i just need to clean them?

Hi, I have this laptop model since 3 years. It has been used always in a "table" with external monitor. Now I am using it as a real "laptop" and it is incredible hot in the SSD, I cant have it over my legs. I would like to put a thermal pad over it but I don't know the thickness of the thermal pad that I need. Could you help me? 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm ? Thanks.

Hey I wanted to know that I have this laptop (hp probook 440 g1 , touchscreen , processor :- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80 GHz , (graphics :- Intel UHD 620 graphics , :- Nvidia MX130 graphics) ) . So can I upgrade my graphics to rtx3090 keeping the processor same or do I have to change both of them.

+Solo_Levelling The only way you can upgrade the graphics would be to replace the entire motherboard with one listed in the service manual that has the amd/Intel switchable graphics. That would be a very costly and labor intensive project.

Hi HP-Support. Got a short question about the 440G1. Unfortunaly the warranty extended a few monts ago... When I plug in the power-supply windows says, that the battery is loading. When I unplug the supply, windows still says, that the battery is loading. This status keeps going, till i unplug the battery. Restarting the laptop, plugging in a usb-c ps or reinstalling battery-drivers did not help. I sadly think, the mainboard is broken... Did you have this case before? If yes, do you have any workaround? I would love to keep my 440G1...

Still got the problem, that my probook thinks, that it´s charging. Even if windows is shut down, die charging LED stays orange. The notebook thinks, it is loading. Already changed the charging port too...
