This was another brilliant ReNtake. Just Ren doing Ren things. Crazy runs and harmonies, filthy bars to remind us that he is also still a cheeky boi, and that voice that’s perfect for Sting/The Police songs. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into everything he does.

Ren doesn't try and make "hits" he's just making music. He spent over a decade learning instruments, making beats, learning production, trying different genres, different instrumentation, different flows, experimenting with sound. In any video he's doing the work most hire a team to do. It makes the music what Ren wants, instead of what others turn it into. Plus, with songs like this he introduces us to the music that inspires him... most don't seem to know Jungle (Back on 74) and a shocking number don't know Sting and the Police (Message in the Bottle). Ren's the real deal.

Ren has always been fearless. He was singing on the streets of Brighton Beach UK at 15 YO. playing for anyone who would listen and listen they did.

I agree these retakes / mashups show that he has a true passion for music, especially since he puts these out knowing that he can’t monetize them or put them on most streaming platforms, since he doesn’t own the license. But I think he does it to pay tribute to artists and music that inspires him, and also to demonstrate the range of his musical ability / talent. From the BTS on his Patreon, he put this together from concept to filming in just 10 days when he was back in the UK for the holidays. His first full rehearsal with the lovely ladies was 2 days before the video shoot. He also does all of the post production and makes everyone he collaborates with shine ✨

I’ve watched a ton of reactions to this song because it’s straight fire!! I can’t tell you how many male reactors gush compliments to the back up singers, This goes to show you how much men really miss and appreciate a beautifully, poised woman who dresses elegantly and modestly . The trend for female “artists” is to dress and behave trashy, portraying it as sexy and desirable to men.. In actuality, decent men prefer simplicity and elegance over extreme makeup, raunchy dress and crude mannerisms.
