Bone and I checked out Big Push a Ren production with a fun Cover By Black Sabbath which was more of a Musical ensemble super awesome and super fun , thank you for the suggestion!

Ren produces everything, he spends ages making it perfect. Here’s some info and songs but I recommend these first I shot the sheriff/ road to Zion/ hiphop Swan song THE BIG PUSH 🥁🎸🎤🎵 REN (Welsh) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Romain Axisa (French) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Gorran Kendall (English) - vocals, acoustic, electtic, bass mostly Glenn Chambers (Irish) - drums mostly The Big Push formed in 2017. Initially being Ren, Romain and Gorran with Glenn joining later to play drums. Gorran and Romain met busking, Romain and Ren then met through Facebook while Ren was trying to find a flat mate. They would all busk together and Glenn would sit in as drummer while also playing bass with another friend Rafa. They then decided to become a band and would take to the streets of Brighton and also created masterpieces of their own. They played numerous gigs including a sold out tour of the U.K. and also released a 6 track EP called “Can Do Will Do”. They busked together for the last time on 14th December 2022 and played their final gig at the Brighton Dome a short while later. Having to go on hiatus due in part to Ren moving to Canada for medical treatment and their lives going in different directions. Although they remain good friends and Ren and Romain have mentioned wanting to play together again. 'Whoever's mixing this...' Yeah, one big reason The Big Push videos sound so incredible is because Ren spends a lot of time mixing and mastering the sound in post. BTW, the intro to the guitar solo was a bit of Ozzy's Crazy Train.

Don't forget the lead guitar Romaine Axisa sliding into Crazy Train for his solo on that fat epiphone. Great aggressive sound out of it. Tight transitiions throughout. Amazing to watch clips from the same day and think of them shifting from so many different genres seamlessly.

Great guys! If you want to hear Big Push perform with a lot soul and great vocals, Ren on bass, highly suggest Wade on the Water /Nina Simone /Trouble So Hard. On this one, Drummer is recording with an iPhone and yes Ren mixes these meticulously, every snare, etc. Takes hours and hours.

Here is the recording and mixing process as described by Ren in the comments of one of The Big Push’s videos: “Line inputs running from each of the busking amps into a H4N recorder. Then the H4N condenser mic placed in front of the amps to capture the ambience of the street. Then another iPhone mic recording the drums (just set on voice recorder). Then mix all that together in post on Logic with some light compression and EQ to make everything pop, and voila!”

Ren said he would often have to go note by note to balance the sound of these performances to balance the crowd noises and things like the buses going by... if you thought you had found the Ren rabbit hole this is a hole new ride.... lol.

If watch Rens interview with female vocal coach on KZbin. He explains it took years for them to figure out the sound and how to mix the sound. He says what program he uses for the sound. Says it takes hours, hours. Spent on mixing every little sound. To get this quality live

They do a phenomenal cover of I shot the Sheriff. Great regae vibe! They are soooo talented and can do any genre. They have great original stuff too. They have done a ton of busking so are great at performing up close to a crowd and very tuned into each other.

I got to see Black Sabbath in Virginia and Ozzy at the PA. Post Gazette Pavilion. I will never forgot those concerts.

6:17, Gorran Kendall on bass has a great voice for classic rock when he takes the lead vocal, but in this song he was only singing the lower harmony vocal. The higher lead vocal was Ren throughout this song.

I loved watching you nods of approval as they went into each part. I think that’s how most Sabbath fans react hearing this mash up. And you summed it up well, 5:27 - 5:52 including picking up the extra funk feel they bring to it. You didn’t mention in the summary though that the guitar solo that is the most watched part is a speeded up rendition of Crazy Train lick that’s also melded in there :) However I came to comment on 7:15 - “whoever is mixing this…” That’s Ren. He started off in his bedroom around 12 I think he said, wanting to be a producer. He started creating beats but living in a small town in Wales (we’re talking one shop in the town small), he had no one to use his beats, so he started rapping on them himself. But he’s continued honing his sound production skills and he’s talked about how these busking sessions were recorded on a few iPhones and he had to spend hours and hours fixing the audio, separating out individual drums and remixing them back together until it sounds this good - studio quality good. Its all the original sounds recorded, but you can get an idea of just how much work he put into fixing the audio if you react to any of the busking videos put out by other people which haven’t had Ren’s magic waved over them. They still sound “good” because they are incredibly talented, but it’s chalk and cheese for anyone really listening to the production quality.
