In the beginning, I think the beat was louder than the therapist to signify how when we're being talked "at" by medical professionals instead of "talked to" we have trouble processing whats being said. Especially since Ren's body language is indicating agitation, the smoking and rocking. All clear indications a patient is in crisis. The last thing a therapist should do in that situation is throw information at the patient, more so, using jargon and that tone.

That women is actually his drummers girlfriend at the time.(2 or 3 yrs ago). Ren was with a band called The Big Push (they are awesome) and the drummer is Glenn. That was Glenn's girlfriend, maybe wife now. I'm not sure. If I'm wrong I will be corrected by someone who knows more. As far as I know Ren does not currently have a steady girlfriend. His life is to busy with treatment and music I assume.

That overwhelming beat is intentional. It is demonstrating that in his condition he can't even really hear her canned therapy. Ren was told hus illness was all in his head and prescribed medications that made him worse. This is all the things he wished he could have said at the time. He felt like he wasn't listened to. Therapist is an actress hired for this. One song I didn't like at first....too chaotic. But here now a year later, i come back to it again and again.

A must watch is Ren - Genesis (music video 3.7M views) this is the best version, and again a one take live on the streets. Ren spent years busking on the streets of Brighton, England. You should check out his busking band 'The Big Push', and in particular - "The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" (13M views) and make sure it is the one with Ren wearing red suspenders (best version). Sick Boi was released after Hi Ren, but was actually shot before it. The pigman represents multiple things. Viktus is the pigman. Rens long time friend and fellow rapper from Brighton. Not his girlfriend. Not even her voice 😂

The suggestions you're getting are too one-note. I don't have time right now to look up the names/links, but somebody please give this reactor the non-rap stuff to react to- e.g., the one he does in the tunnel with the woman he sings with (sorry; I went so far down the Ren rabbit hole when he first hit, that I had to pull back. At the time I knew the names of his collab partners and songs, but I've forgotten); and the one he did with his band when they were street musicians-- I don't want to give too much away, because it will be fun when this reactor flips out on seeing something so unexpected, but it's the one where his bandmate, the fiddler, gets carried away and plays on his knees in the street)...and also, this reactor needs to see Ren playing the piano on top of the world, singing the song he wrote to his best friend who passed (I won't tell the story here, but maybe y'all can share it after the ractor sees hat vid.-- I really think he needs to see the many other facets of Ren).
