As a bass player I literally shake my head listening to songs like this when Ren is not only killing it on guitar but throwing on killer bass fills that stand out in the mix. It's absolutely bananas how talented he is in every way. And no matter how many times I've heard a song it never gets old seeing the genuine joy on your face reacting to Ren, Tom, Nova, Sam, whoever. It's like I'm experiencing it for the first time again myself.

Its a beauty. (Red hair and freckles often go together don't they.) I love its youthful raw energy. Yes I can hear , lots of influences that other people have said. I love the drumming, reminds me of the drumming Reni of the Stone Roses employed. Rens angelic vocals are lush of course. In fact the energy reminds of them a lot. Yeah this one is perfectly named - and the pure joy of your reaction also matched it. This is a real banger of a tune and perhaps a snapshot of where Ren may have gone musically had things not turned out as they did. This was indeed one of the songs written while he was at Sony and would have been a hit I'm sure - certainly one of my favourites. I'm hoping for a bit more like this from his next album.

Love me some freckled angels, between this and the Demo vol. 1&2 CD I played them till they are wore out. But the "sick boi" CD has replaced them so they can rest for a while. I can picture young Ren with a full head of hair( not shaved on the sides) belting this one out. It is amazing how young and innocent be was during these songs compared to the darker ones on the sick boi album. Everyone and everything took a piece of him and spit him out. His demeanor reflects the hell he was put through. Still a nice guy but that sweet innocence was savagely ripped from him and he has a hardness that shows along with his mindset.

So spam commenting is something i tend to do, i react to reactions in real time. "REN FANS ARE DIFFERENT" we share somethings, pain being a big part. I dont think of what a RENagade thinks religiously or politicaly. Idc what your sports teams are, the color of your skin, or what type of chirch you go to, i only think about your struggle and the similarities we all share. In "seven sins" ren asks if youve ever felt pain and during this interrogation he comes out of left field with the word "pain" just the sound of it makes it stand out like only ren can do, but it is in fact the most important part of the song. Its that pain thats unexpected its the pain you didnt know you could experience emotional and otherwise undocumented. I know now i dont want to kill myself i dont want to admit im a masochist. I love pain. But for the same reasons rens always talking about it. Its the pig mask. A constant yet dark companion you can converse with in the soul. Its not here to make your life the hell that it has become, choices aided that, and yet Its just here. A companion who comes to know you more than yourself. Its an entity i can talk about my state of self with comfortably. Okay, i seriously need to right a book, but not on every ren reaction on yt Lmao
