Thank you for coming back to Ren, and hoping you stay tuned! He's dropping retakes of favorite tunes/artists every two weeks right now, working on a Demos 3 of older tracks from his hard drives, working on collabs with other artists including two tracks with Chinchilla, and his "timeless" album. And of course videos for a many of these. He's also still going to clinic in Canada 5 days per week. Ren describes himself as a meticulous mixer. He cuts out individual notes to apply reverb to them, if it feels good to him. He doesn’t like to apply one solution to an entire track. Describes it also to the Charismatic Voice (Elizabeth) in an interview, as well.

He's so busy at the moment it seems to be so tricky to get in touch with him, but I hope he sees your messages eventually as it'd be great to see you guys chatting. I knew nothing of Fred Again. Then I watched a few videos beforehand; I was very non-plussed with that music and lyrics. Then I watched Ren reanimate the boredom of Fred Again and make it magical by slowing it down and adding a bit of several emotions. Reminded me of the end of 'For Joe' in a strange way. Welcome back to the rabbit hole! How amazing is it to have an artist like Ren who you know is going to deliver no matter what you check out? Even if it’s not always to everyone’s personal tastes, the quality is there. Must also be a relief as reactors to know when going into it that you’re not going to disappoint any viewers by not liking what they recommend 😅 Anyway, who else can take 5 EDM tracks and create such an emotional mashup? He resonated with the music and made it his own 🖤🐰🕳️ Edit: oh I forgot with my ADD brain 😅 I believe Ren has sometimes outsourced the mastering, but otherwise yes, the production and engineering is all him. He has learned a lot from spending hours cleaning up busking sessions with The Big Push and by being a perfectionist 😂

I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa too, I have a love hate relationship with it as I hate having it but having it actually saved my life. I had an accident and it set off my HS and at this point I had not known I had HS, so I ended up being admitted to hospital and without going into graphic detail had numerous operations to sort the symptoms and that’s when they diagnosed the HS but while doing the operations, they notice another issue which they investigated and they discovered I had Crohn’s disease and it had caused a lot of damage and because I have a high pain tolerance I wasn’t aware of it and I could have possibly died as a result of the damage, peritonitis, which can lead to sepsis, the Doctors said they were surprised I hadn’t already got sepsis, fortunately now they knew I had Crohn’s, they could treat that. So I think because of the later stuff, it took my attention away from the HS diagnosis as I was concentrating more of the Crohn’s and it didn’t give me the opportunity to mull over it in my head, so as much as I hate it because I have it, I also see the other side of the coin and am grateful for it because if I didn’t, who knows if I would be alive today. I don’t often here people talk about it, this is probably the first time I have heard someone from the online world even mention it, let alone say they have it, so outside of the medical profession, you are probably only the third person I have heard say they have it

Checking in with you two is basically mandatory for me, not just for one artist. Having grown up with all genres, from Big Band, Country, Jazz, Motown e.g.really brightens your horizon. Now I am into JRock and even started a playlist especially for the classic Japanese artists.
