Hey just letting you know that Ive been LOVING your reactions to these chapters. All of these may be dark (and trust me... they get a bit darker in the middle ones), but they are required watching for true fans of Rens art. Thank you!

Ren says Eric was good to him and he didn't get dropped by Sony so much as the contract just expired while he was in limbo. His personal anger with the music industry has more to do with the management he split from in 2020... or 2022, right before he wrote/filmed Power. He hasn't said a lot about it, though he says there's a song he wrote but hasn't yet released that goes into some of it. He has said that when he showed them the start of Sick Boi they told him it wasn't any good and it shook his confidence for a while. Then he decided to go with the album and drop the management instead of vice versa.

I can’t imagine the sheer grit and fortitude you need to live like that and still achieve more than most people ever will in several lifetimes. It’s truly humbling!

I know your doing the chapters but this past Thursday Ren dropped the first song off his upcoming album 'Slaughter House". Another banger.

Always your reactions are so insightful. My purest wish for Ren is that he can reach a balance in his life. He’s got so much music in his heart and my thought is that when he’s feeling well he pushes himself to get it all out and in that push his illness pushes back on him. Balance. I pray he can find that balance.

I think Ren should make a book out of this, he writes so well. I expect he will, some day. He has a gift with words, and, let’s face it, has led an interesting life. Perhaps in a few years. He spent a lot of time as a youth chatting to online support groups, helping people, and sharing his ideas on managing M.E. It is very close to his heart.

I’m really glad you are taking the time to do The Chapters. Thank you. 🙏😊 As someone who had ME from the age of 13 for 23yrs I can concur that his explanation of the fatigue is 100% correct. I was lucky in a way as I had 11 good yrs until I got Covid. I struggled to recover, and have not been the same since. To get ME back again with a side order of Long Covid has been devastating. I never thought I’d get it back (naive I know) it’s now been 18mths and I’m bed bound a lot of the time. Ren has been a real beacon of light, shining hope. His music has been and continues to be life changing. I pray he recovers enough to enjoy his life. ❤️🩹❤️🩹

I love your reactions to Ren's music and his Chapters. It can be heavy going at times, and I almost worry for you because you are so obviously empathetic. His story and his music are ultimately incredibly inspirational and life-affirming so keep going (but for your own sake please look after yourself and take some breaks ...)

Greetings, I've seen some of your reactions to PMJ and I love them... would it be okay if I recommend a beautiful song and the best solo you've ever heard? It's Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa's I'll Rather Go Blind (cover) "Live in Amsterdam". Additionally, if you haven't seen these PMJ ones yet: Umbrella (Casey Abrams), Happy (Gunhild Carling) and Bad Romance (Adriana Savalas). Enjoy!

Fun fact the first album hes tqlking about in this one is on his hidden chqnnel called ren unreleased. (Fire album) he doesnt talk about this one so idk about doing reactions. Some hqve tried and got roasted by fans. Still a great channel to check out though.

The songs were released on Bandcamp he has mentioned their existence. He was putting songs up to try to raise money while sick. I guess it's a fan that downloaded it onto YT - so it's not "official" .
