Ren Was Unable To Be Matched 🆚️ In His Usual 6️⃣ - 7️⃣ Age Division & Rather Than Him Not Compete, He Made The Decision Without Any Hesitation To Move Up To The Age 8️⃣ - 9️⃣ Division In Order To Challenge Himself & Get In Some Competitive 🆚️ Matches Ahead Of The British 🇬🇧 Open Next Week & He Certainly Did Not Look 👀 Out Of Place In This Older Age Division Despite Ren Not Long Turning 7️⃣ 👊🏻
He Actually Faced An Opponant Who He Competed Against In His 1️⃣st Ever BJJ 🇧🇷🥋 Tournament Back 🔙 In September 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ At The Empire Grappling: Leeds Open Although That Time, It Was In The Gi 🥋 Final & A Final He Lost Via Armbar & This Time, It Would Be In The No Gi 🤼‍♂️ Semi Final & All Was Going Well In A Firecly Competitive 🆚️ Match & One In Which Ren Was Winning On Points 4️⃣ - 2️⃣ & Dominating From Top But Then Ren Was Deemed To Have Slammed His Opponant & With His Opponant Then Been Unable To Continue The Remainder Of The Match, Ren Was Disqualified For The 1️⃣st Time Ever 😭
It Was A Very Sad 😥 & Unjust Way To End 🔚 What Was A Very Competitive 🆚️ Match & Made Worse Somewhat By Some Of The Inconsistencies We Had Seen 👀 From Referee To Referee Among Other Things Really Not Worth Mentioning As Regardless Of All Things, The Referees Decision Is Final But It Was Certainly A Tough DQ & Decision For Ren To Take As It Was Purely Accidental With No Intent & Zero Warnings Given, Again, Inconsistent With What We Had Seen 👀 Across Many Other 🆚️ Matches But We Take Great Learning From This Along With Great Confidence That Ren Is Able To Move Up An Age Division & Hang With These Older Boys Although He Is Very Eager For A 3️⃣rd 🆚️ Match With This Fantastic Opponant So He Can Avenge The Previous Two & You Have To Love ❤ & Respect That Competitive Desire 🙌🏻
