I appreciate the thoughtful approach and discussion topics we share during Izzy's reactions. That's one reason I set aside an uninterrupted block of time and ruminate about it for a while. Yes! I've always seen Ren as a different version of Bowie; another artist who was reinventing or exploring new avenues with his creativity. I was a youth during the latter years of Bowie and it was an exciting thing to see. My favorite line is "pragmatist: think before I speak; then I answer it". And I haven't discovered why that is.

I love the variety Ren puts into one song. It reminds me of back in the day raving and how the DJs would mix two tracks together, which provided the variety. But Ren adds those changes to tempo, feel etc himself. 💜💜💜

I do believe Ren is on a higher level like Bowie. You never know what you will get with Ren, but it is all excellent, no matter if you choose a different genre personally. He is an artist.

Isn’t it strange to think Ren considered “Sick Boi” a throw away album. He definitely didn’t think it would be a #1 in the UK. I hope this finds you well, Izzy. You seem great. I’m behind on reactions. Playing a little catchup. After Ren’s health fell into the crapper; mine soon followed. My stress levels spiked over his health, and basically my body Said fck this Sh!t and I ended up in bed hurting. Now, I have the pleasure of stressing about som awesome Renegades in Florida. Some of my thoughts on your ponderings: I believe the one constant equality at this point in human evolution SHOULD be (no less than what I believe to be) BASIC human rights: 1. to be allowed a chance to physically survive once born. 2. to be fed and clothed and housed given what one's environmental conditions necessitate. 3. To be educated in as much as one's country and/or culture provides for its citizens. 4. When one chooses to violate laws of their (country, city, state, village etc.) establishment that they are accorded judgement that is consistent with precedent for current laws. I am NO AUTHORITY and frankly don't know if these ideas of mine are backed by anyone or any set of laws. Simply my thoughts that (for some reason) are conjured up by listening to your reactions lol.
