It’s tough to see Ren feeling so hopeless when he is a beacon of hope for so many others. Like it’s hardly going to be helpful to suggest checking out his own music. But I know he will get through this. He got better and he will again. Hopefully without a setback this bad and so soon again after feeling better. He is a light in the darkness even if he is temporarily blinded. Anyway I love this version of Blind Eyed! Sam looking like he is about to stop when the car park attendant shows up but then his expression changes to “oh well I guess we’re doing this” when rebel Ren just keeps going without batting an eye 😂 And the entire thing feels so impromptu and like it’s just for fun, yet they sound stupidly good. Never seen anyone else kill it so casually. All while things go wrong and they’re walking around - without a guitar strap. So fricking impressive ❤

Loved Ren's post about this using dry British humour in thanking the angry park attendant for being a brilliant performing partner. So funny. I saw his post the other day. It's hard when you have a relapse. I have M.E. and auto-immune conditions. I really relate to Ren's lyrics as he was Misdiagnosed with M.E. for years. I had long Covid last year and relapsed back 20 years to when I was diagnosed. Thank God for Ren shining a light on all these forgotten conditions. He is such a big advocate for mental health too after losing his friend to suicide and because of the wrong medications he was put on. I often wonder if there is an underlying cause of my own condition as I have been like this for 20 years with slow improvement. I also have P.T.S.D. after finding my mum dead in her bed. I have been involved in raising money for mental health charities as my colleagues 19 year old son threw himself under a train 10 years ago. Ren's lyrics are so deep and I love the fact that there are dual meanings in most of them. I work as a support worker in a Special School for teens with severe ASD, ADHD & Mental Health Issues due to struggling to Socialise and form relationships. Ren's music is therapy for us all.

Congratulations on beating your way out of that anxiety med nightmare💜 13 years of nursing , 5 in addiction/ recovery and in all seriousness… anxiety meds, Benzodiazepines in particular… will F your whole world up. In my experience, those patients struggle so much more than those with opiates, like a long and slow death🫣🥺 Don’t mistake what I’m saying… they’re both equally unimaginably horrible, Benzo- type meds just have effect for a much longer period. I’m very proud of you 🥳
