Just to add. Screech didn’t know Jenny was his sister. After his father killed their mother they were separated and put into the care system. Jenny developed her mothers traits of being silent. Where as Screech took on his fathers darkness. What is even more alarming is if you listen to Jenny’s tale again it says that she was wearing high heels walking the streets and wanted to escape. She was a prostitute at the age of 14. Jenny’s tale was based on a true story of a prostitute killed in London. And the newspaper article wrote….it’s such a shame! The other tales were written afterwards. This far deeper than you imagine listening to it the first time.
@sigally4 ай бұрын
Until someone can tell me they saw a post, comment or heard Ren say something about a newspaper article with a prostitute then it's lore.🤣 I looked and couldn't find any. I saw a comment of his saying he hoped not, but Ren is tricky like that and like many artists likes to keep things mysterious.
@janinewalker17484 ай бұрын
He DID read an article about a 14 yr old boy who stabbed a woman on the streets of London but she wasn't a prostitute. The part wher he was shot he made up! and violets tale he did 2 years later purely made up for drama. Ren explained that on his page somewhere, I can't remember where from. Also just clarify, James WAS screech and STEVIE was the one that open her eyelids. ❤

@@sigally so perhaps before commenting as if you actually know for a FACT that I am incorrect and leaving laughing emojis. You should stop trying to be so condescending. It’s really not a nice trait to have. And even you are correct. That is certainly what is being suggested in the storyline, and your comment serves as nothing but an ego boost for yourself. And nobody likes a know it all either.
@rionanderson25734 ай бұрын
@@janinewalker1748 and I shall apply the same logic to your comment as I did to the other lady who commented. You literally gave no factual evidence that my comment was either correct or not.just, I read it somewhere but can’t remember where. Also why is it so important to you to try and belittle somebody? Is it just an attempt to stroke your own ego, by you being right and somebody else being wrong? The storyline certainly suggests that what I wrote is correct, and for me that’s ok. I certainly don’t try and pick holes into peoples comments just to try and prove a point. That’s just petty and narcissistic.

I think it's safe to assume that if the twins' father killed the mother, they'd end up in the system. Not a stretch to think newborn twins could end up separated from there. In that case, neither would likely know they had a sibling. But interesting that they both exhibited the same traits as their parents. Intergenerational trauma seems endless sometimes. 😮

He had all that time in his bed so he practiced and self taught himself in all instruments. He is still fighting Lyme and yeah. More Ren please.

He was 19 he was signed by Sony in 2009. His contract expired while sick in bed trying to stay alive. I'm thinking a 6-12 month contract. It explained it all in detail on his Chapters 1-8 at RenMakesStuff. A tiny summary was on his Troubles song. To much to explain. He was sick before he was signed but he faked it and didn't tell them because he knew he would lose his shot. He tried to sing and perform but it caught up with him and he could not stand up anymore without getting sick. At age 29-30 he performed Jenny's tale, it was early 2019, screech was late 2019 and Violet tale was 2022.

The Sick Boi album was number 1 in the UK, but it was in the top 5 of the charts in Germany, Australia, and one or two other countries. He made it to 30 in the US billboard charts that week, and one day, when he decided to troll someone in jest for a song promo, he chose an Icelandic (?) village of 50 people or so, and some Ren fans from there hollered back, clearly to his surprise. Oh, and of course Tom Hardy, Elton John, Sinead O'Connor, Robbie Williams are among the many who have outed themselves publicly as Ren fans. Andrew Lloyd Webber drummed up support for him online.
@ChrisLawton664 ай бұрын
@@cas9065 yes, all true. And Russell Crowe has been a supporter as well. Not to throw shade on his #1, but numerous fans, including myself, bought multiple copies of the album and that's certainly atypical of how albums get on the charts. It really doesn't correlate as one purchase to one fan. Also, while I'm quite sure Andrew Lloyd Webber was sincere in his support, it should be noted that two of his sons are responsible for distribution of the Sick Boi album.

6:28 I read a suggestion that Violet's father could have been the father of the twins, based on the unlikely event that Violet as a single woman would have been allocated a council flat unless she was also a mother or pregnant. Also based on Stevie calling her a liar while beating her up. Either way, both were violent men so Screech's traits could have come from either (as well as from his environment). It's a plausible alternative.

Violet’s boyfriend Stevie is the one who killed her. Every night he’d paint her black and blue. This night he came home drunk and decided to beat her up even though she was 9 months pregnant with their twin babies. Violet dies, and Stevie probably went to jail and the kids Jenny and James(street name Screech) grew up in the foster system and didn’t know each other. Some Renegades went on to speculate that Jenny may have been a hooker because she walked the streets. And others speculated that Screech couldn’t get a hold of his friend Patrick because he was at his girlfriend’s house which is why she was too busy to have him come by. How’s that for some extra layers!

Rap songs like: Genesis, Sick boi, The Hunger, Animal flow, Murderer Amazing songs like: Power, Chalk outlines, How to be me, Ocean, Humble, Suic!de, Diazepam, Dominoes, Fire Then when you realize he is also in an incredible rock band "The Big Push" that mixes all the influences from Nina Simone, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, The Police, The Black Sabbath and so much more... its insane what this band accomplished. Check out their LIVE performances on the STREET that sound like STUDIO quality recordings Songs from The Big Push: I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop Wade in the water / Nina simone / Trouble so hard War Pigs (Black Sabbath cover) And THEN ITS NOT OVER... his performances with Sam Tompkins with his improv virtuosity and creativity are beyond unbelievable: Ren & Sam Tompkins - Walking On The Moon / No Diggity (Live Performance) Ren & Sam Tompkins - Earned it /Mans World / Falling Honestly, all this is just the start of the rabbit hole. There is so much material this guy has in his catalogue since he has been bedridden due to his sickness for YEARS and his only outlet was his music. It saved his life. And in his case, this is not just an empty phrase.

He is a modern day bard, y'all. He uses music, theater, rap, etc. to tell a story. We haven't had anything like this before and he should be protected at all costs. Lol

it starts a generation prior to what many people realise... Violet's parents... her dad is violent, her mother is silent (a drinker, but she knows what her husband is doing, and stays quiet about it.. probably to save herself a beating)... Violet is killed by her own partner, Stevie...she's silent, he's violent James (screech) is violent and kills his sister Jenny, who again is the silent type... James and Jenny are names often given to orphans. they would have gone through the system and be separated at birth, only to chance upon one another at the end of it all.... Jenny had a feeling about that night... maybe that famous twin feeling people talk about. Jenny was walking the street in high heels, going home from work, late at night... she was a streetwalker, even at 14. it wasn't just Violet who never stood a chance.

Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues

What Ren calls 'bardcore' - bards being mistrels of old who told stories and travelled around with their lutes! But this is just ONE tiny thread of Ren - u need to blow ya minds with some rappity rap next. The Hunger, Losing It, Ilest of Our Time.... Love Music - 1 to 4 - ... Loco... omg the list goes on! 😊❤
