Excellent intro. However, if you want a much more thorough examination of the nephron and its function, see Dr. John Campbell's KZbin videos. They are much better than my medical school lecturer and probably better than any lecturer on planet earth except for Dr. Najeeb. However, Dr. Najeeb's lectures are very, very detailed. None-the-less, they are true gems.

But there is one mistake in the subtitles, EFFERENT ARTERIOLE carries the blood away from the glomerulus and then supplies to capillary beds (PERITUBULAR CAPILLARIES and VASA RECTA). I've listened to you few times and you are correct, but students be careful with the subtitles if you used it!!!

Faisal..there is actually thick and thin descending limb..the difference in this two is the type of cells they have..cuboidal cells and such
