She is wonderful. Much lighter on her vocal feet than one expects. But the music seems quite weak to me. I have often thought it a shame that at this early point she did not perform in concert bel canto arias without the cabaletta. She could have sung a glorious ‘Ai dolci guidami’ in 1951 (Caballé had no real trill either), and parts of ‘Norma’ - I think of ‘Deh non volerli vittime- would have been stunningly beautiful as well.
