Singapore to KL! We chose to travel from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur by bus - an easy ride overland. The trip required us to pass thru Malaysia immigration at the Singapore-Malaysia border. In this video, see how to travel from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in style and comfort with Transtar Solitaire. Included are multiple rest stops, Asian breakfast, and the Malaysian countryside.
As we go from Singapore to Malaysia, you can expect a lot of videos in Malaysia from now on. Subscribe to follow along: bit.ly/Renata_Y...

► WHO AM I?
Short answer: I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
Detailed answer: • How we afford to trave... 😉
P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ;-)

The reason for that not-so-modern immigration checkpoint on the Malaysian side is because there are actually two entry points between Singapore and Malaysia. You exited via Tuas on the Singapore end and so you came over to the older terminal on the Malaysian side. Usually, 95% of buses use the Woodlands exit in Singapore and then when you enter Malaysia you'd be in an ultra modern terminal, which is slightly even bigger than Woodlands.

If you are from KL, it's way better to travel by bus. There are many stops in Spore that you can choose. Sometimes right by your hotel. Just choose the correct timing to travel.

You were super lucky! We took the bus from SG-KL At 12:40pm in the afternoon and arrived in KL at 10pm at night!!! Traffic was so bad and each immigration stop took around an hour because they had to wait for a lot of passengers! Damnnn

Hi. Welcome to Malaysia. Since you might be in KL during Aidil Fitri ie the celebrations after the Fasting month of Ramadhan try to visit the National Palace. Its normally open house on the first day so you might just get to see the King and free Raya dishes. Also do try durian when you are here. Enjoy your stay.
