In this episode we continue with the door panels upholstery but we decided to take it to a different level. After buying a cheap sawing machine (50 euros) we were able to mix both textile and leather for more of a original aspect.

Hello guys and greetings from Montenegro! I want to first express my congratulations on your hard work and videos as they are really interesting and helpful. I also wanted to ask you for your advice on how to repair the windows rolling mechanisms as I also have a 5 door Renault 5 campus from 1990 and the window mechanisms are a real problem with them 😑 If there are no repair solutions, it would be verry helpful if you would at least share some ideas to where I could find some affordable ones on the internet. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

Usually the problem with those come from the hose in which the metal part slides. If that is the case I suggest than you insert it as it is(broken) in a new hose and you stick them together. I have one mechanism broken and I will do a video of the repair but this will take a while, maybe 1 month or so from now.

@@brankobajagic Thank you. Although I did not tried yet for windows mechanism keep in mind that plenty of parts from Renault Twingo first generation will fit. C3G engine of twingo is more or less the same as the C3J you probably have. gear box, steering rack and many others will fit woth no adaptation. Also Clio gen 1 and gen 2 ae a great fit.

@@Renault5Campus Oh yeah, using the Clio or Twingo parts would be verry convenient especially since the R5 ones are becoming verry rare or verry expensive to find. Ill try an combine all I can since I really like my little Renault.
