Pavel Mach The whole idea of making a video of the production is to show the costumers the quality control. What i'm trying to say is, Honda doesn't need some made up shit like a guy with a glove petting the car in a "very poetical" way... it's a marketing stunt wich Honda or Toyota do not need to show how well their cars are built. And yes, Handmade products are better (most of the times), For instance, the portuguese shoes are considered the best in the world and you know why? Because they are handmade (the good ones), i have leather boots, shoes, mocassins for years, they are all portuguese, they are very confortable and are built to last! Just like Hondas. A machine cannot see an imperfection on the chassis but a human can, the machine will install the bumper anyway but the human will stop the production. That tiny small imperfection might be the origin of bigger problems like fragile bumper fit, weird noises inside of the car... all sorts of problems can happen. Renaults are mostly bad quality vehicles because of two reasons: they are cheap and not built to last. Compare a Civic to a Megane, you know with the civic you can at least drive 400 000Km without any major problems but with the megane? With the megane you know when it reaches 200 000Kms it wont last tha much more and all sort of problems can happen.

+André Barbosa actually, a machine can spot imperfections far better than humans. I am an audi employee and our machines and scanners can spot imperfections as low as 1/100 of a milimeter and weld the best spots you will have ever seen. Also, nearly all shoes comercially available are handmade, just in Asia.

+Puma Nocturne Shit on Design.. The PSA is a real piece of Shit.. I bought a new Car from de PSA. I must wait 2 Years for a new Radio, 2 Years Trouble with the Engine, who were not able to fix it. In the end the Engine is broken, the new Engine made the same problems.. My lawyer was pleased. When I read that the PSA is in the hands of the state, i must laugh. It's pity they are not bankrupt. Now i have a Megane RS and im very happy with that car.. No problems since 4 Years..

I bought a new Megane 4 Grandtour in March this year. The car has 4500km mileage, the list of faults so far is: without a reason the central display went off, too much oil in the engine, the rear lamps unsealed - twice, leaking rear right door, I wonder what will happen next?

Renault is one of the biggest european car manufacturers . They make cars that are relyable , safe , economic and can be in the same class with a mercedes or a bmw. For example the renault clio , the diesel version , has a price tag of lets say 15.000 - 16.000 euros , the similar mercedes a180 diesel cost more.

My friend damaged his Megane due to electronic handbrake which can sometimes fail. Turns out it's a global issue (dust confuses the sensors). It's a nice car, but I'm still hoping for the day when Renault will be reliable car before "Phase II". Also, are they really comparing car color by the eye?! Colorimeter? :/

My father was in the auto industry for 50 years and he said that during that up until 2010, so only 5 years ago, being in and out of just about every single car on sale in Europe at least, has never come across any french car built with any engineering logic, but sever cost cuttings and quick manufacturing times. The recent warranty direct survey which found renaults to be at the top along with nissan is speculated that it was a paid for commission by the renault nissan group, because renaults are not selling. Needless to say this doesn't look impressive. Dirty floors, tired looking presses. Volkswagen factories, even the Skoda one in Czech look immaculate and their quality control looks far greater than this.
