I had a Clio 3RS Cup and now a tuned M3RS. Had a chance to drive the M4RS. Good car and maybe very fast car around track. Also the 4 wheel steering makes it very agil and interesting to drive. The engine is only average i think. Not slow but also not fast. But like most modern cars it missed the steering and overall connection feel. Fast but artificial, especially the sound inside. Nowhere near as direct and aggressive as a M3RS or let alone a C3RS. If you are in the mood for hooning, you cant beat the older Renault Sports. If not, the new car is better.

Isn't this one with Sport chassis and no LSD? If so I would expect Megane 3 to carry more RenaultSport DNA, until the Cup releases.

Max Power : so do I. Fast, very fast I would say (but turbo engine). Very VERY good EDC gearbox (much better than usual one). Great chassis able to be comfortable and planted on the floor. 4 wheels steering is amazing especially on fast corners! Compared to M3RS, it is faster especially on track. But the connection feel is really missing. That's like that for almost all modern cars. The only modern car not giving that feeling which i could try was the new MX5 (and even here: no hydraulic steering pump, so still a bit disconnected).

I don't like the fact that EDC have 6 speed and other hothatches have 7 or 8 speed on highway the megane will be 3-4k at 140 km/h and the others 2-3k on 140km/h

Please display specs of the car at the beginning of the review for couple of seconds. So we can see immediately what we are dealing with :) Power, Torque, Acceleration to 100km/s, Rear or All wheel drive etc.

the new design of the Renault cars is so much clean and vivid i really like it they've done a great job on this part BUT the only downside in the design is the interior touch screen it looks squary and old fashion it reminds me of an Infinix or a whatever Chinese screen not to mention the interface the menu it's like they design it in a Paint app on Windows 🤔

Renault did with this exactly what they did with the Clio 4. Clio 4 RS was sort of a "warm hatch" instead of a full hot hatch, more focused on everyday driving and comfort. The Trophy is going to be the real deal, that's gonna be the actual hot hatch. Kinda like the Golf GTI vs. GTI CS.

Tried all of them. i30n is far from the two french cars. Really not something I'd pick any day. 308 GTi gave me a better connection feeling to the car. Pretty fun. Better interior. M4RS is much faster on corners with the 4Control though. Sounds better too. tricky to choose.

I get that not every one is an engineer ( power/mechanical work for an engine is something that kids learn in 7th grade physics but never mind) , but if you dont know what you re talking about why bring it up ? jesus What you are talking about is the power and torque curve that describes power and torque as a function of RPM. The new engine reaches max power and torque at lower rpm but power and torque also drop off quicker meaning at high rpm you have weaker acceleration. This is why the car is so slow in 5th and 6th over 190 - 200km

I love his videos. One of the best car channels on YT in General. BUT....does he need to wave around those spaghetti arms and hands so much? It is so distracting. well its the same engine since 2004 ad chassis is same from 2015 so idk if it needs one. its decently quick for acceleration and in most situations faster than my e90 bmw in speeds of 0-200 but then it just dies my NA 3.0 is almsot as quick as it is when we tested in daily. situations. Guy with stock sti just couldnt run away form me with just acceleration. Also handling is very good for AWD vehicle, had to really stretch my legs on bilstein b12 set to keep up
