I think its becuse people dont know the difference between a gt and a track car, this is a track car, made to be fast on turns. And a gt is made to be fast af in straight line. Track cars: Megane RS, Civic Type R, M2 Cometiton, Alpine A-113 GT: Supra, M8 Competition, RS4, RS6...

Peter Schubert das Problem gab es schon beim Vorgänger, wo bei 230 ihn die Puste ausgeht . Es ist halt nicht umsonst "Renault"

Was heißt „puste“ ausgeht.. man muss halt nun mal bedenken, dass es ein 1.8l Motor ist. Daraus wird nun mal kein Sportwagen, das hat wenig mit Renault zu tun. Natürlich stimmt, was du sagst, aber was erwartest du denn? Das er bis 300kmh an einem Porsche mithält? Dazu kommt, dass Renault seine Autos für 130kmh auslegt, weil man in ganz Europa bis auf Deutschland nicht schneller fahren darf und so gesehen ist es ja schon mal gut, dass man überhaupt 230kmh fahren kann!😄 ist natürlich kein Argument für die Rennstrecke, aber die fehlende Beschleunigung ab sagen wir mal 200kmh, macht man bei vergleichbaren Autos durch die Allradlenkung wieder gut 😉

Its not downsizing its stupid regulations. This doesnt mesh with performance and sound. On top of that stupid dual clutch transmission to make the soundeven worse. So it just farts and aound like shit just like Golf GTi and all other modern inline 4 engines. If you want something that sounds nice look at early-mid 2000s and 90s and prior.

Yep, almost 44k EUR with every option on it but the DCT here too. That's more expensive than a Type R. (Belgium) Reductions ?? Every car brand but the Germans will match the reduction you get with some other brand if you shop around and NO, Renault will not give you 10k reduction. I've driven it and was offered a 3k EUR reduction, bringing it down to 40.750 EUR. That's still more expensive than a Type R (FYI Honda offered 3.5k reduction). No brand will give you more than 4k on a brand new model. Maybe in 5 years from now. I bought an i30 N Performance. Can't believe Renault think they can ask almost 10k EUR more for the same thing and think they can stay competitive in the market. Megane RS II and III were much more competitive in pricing and way more fun to drive than the new one too.
