I've owned my Twingo GT for a couple of months now and your assessment is spot on. The acceleration is as good as the hot hatches that I drove back in the 1980s with the added benefit of low 40s mpg, even though it has done less than 1,000 miles so far. This is a really good car with plenty of cabin room, good all round visibility and a usefully shaped boot that accommodates a fair amount lot of shopping or luggage. The UK press have, as a rule, underrated this cracking little sporty hatch which is why you see so few of them. Thank you for redressing the balance in your excellent review.

@@sussex_reef559 Have already responded to you on the Picanto GT thread and hope it is helpful but my next car will be electric as this is the way forward and my country is bringing in Zero Emissions Zones to all large towns and cities in the very near future.

no rev counter is the single reason i cannot buy one. unbelievable! only the french can manage this lol

@@kenzohkw It was a major issue for me until I bought mine and I don't miss it at all. But it is puzzling why a rev counter wasn't included.

Subscribed, I actually enjoyed that and like your presenting style! keep up the good work! Only ONE important thing I feel you missed! you were talking about the little 900cc engine while pointing at the bonnet, and spoke about the lack of rear boot space, but didn't mention the cars number one difference, the fact its Rear engine and Rear wheel drive :-)

didnt mention that it is rear engine and rear wheel drive so it can do skids if you disable the traction control through the obd can system

Reason the boot is small is that the engine is in the rear. Kept pointing to the front when mentioning the engine. Know your subject matter my good man. 😂
