In thick brush like that, try to get rid of the bobber and strictly use jig and plastic. Braid is nice in that situation to detect the bites. Nice video. I love me some crappie fishing

Yeah I would think you wouldn't want to continue with that presentation in that thick stuff. Those males were pretty, black crappie. We call them specks down here in Florida, look more detailed than there cousin the white crappie.
