That chest loot is a bit of a slip that some funny business was afoot, since thats not actually a valid loot layout. There can only be 4-8 chest slots filled with loot in ruined portals and also the iron nuggets were in stack amounts that they are impossible to spawn in (less than 9). Makes me think ren maybe hopped in creative to do the locate biome command, since his reaction to finding the biome was pretty mild for 15k blocks out like he said. He probs broke the chest accidentally and wanted to make it look legit for when he stumbled upon it in survival. Tbh tho i wouldnt want to be looking all day for a mooshroom biome when its the core part of your seasons storyline since they can take hours and hours to find legit

I wrote down some lore notes from season 9 so far from the episodes and Rendog's stream last weekend. - Gigaverse, where Minecraft players and servers exist. Like a minecraft universe. When you log into MC you enter this digital minecraft universe. - Planet HC-9 (season 9 server), a planet in the Hermitcraft "galaxy". SMPs are like galaxies and in the Hermitcraft "galaxy" there are planets, which are the different seasons. Legacy SMP would be it's own galaxy and so forth. - Rosie Bot, the copper golem looking robot that communicates with Rendog. Rosie watches Hermitcraft on the Giganet, but only Docm77. - Gigafication, something to be done to HC-9. It's a problem for Gigacorp that the hermits are colonizing the planet. - Gigacorp, a huge corporation that dominates the Gigaverse. It's shops are on every SMP. It's goal is to make a lot of profit and use that profit for preservation (?) against the coming darkness. - Admiral Enderion, onboard the Gigacorp spaceship (?), enderman with a third eye. First seen at a Giga-Cola space diner. Endermen are extremely intelligent advanced race, but something happened to make them as they are today. They used to have a third eye, an ender eye, on top of their head. It enabled them to understand the Gigaverse like no one else could. They no longer have this ability. Most of the enderman lost their third eye. They're trying to find it by picking up blocks. Enderion is one of the last remaining real endermen, he still has his third eye. - Comms-Link, used as a communication link between Rosie and Rendog. - Gigapod, has landed on HC-9 on a mooshroom island biome, contains some kind of delivery to fight the darkness. Or the Gigapod must be protected from the coming darkness? Gigapod's fuel reserves are empty and Rendog must find netherite to fuel it up. - Hermitheus ship floats in the gigaverse. The hermits travel between the season from planet to planet (server to server) in the Hermitheus. - HC season 8 was a simulation, a virtual reality - Hermatrix - while the hermits were in cryosleep, so there is no planet HC-8 in the Hermitcraft galaxy. Some questions that people had on the stream: - What about when people play on the same seed but different servers? Are they on alternative universes/reality? - How do characters exist in multiple SMPs? Like Rendog in Hermitract and Last Life at the, or MCC. The characters travel through wormholes (black holes) to other SMPs. (We see these wormholes as the server address bar on the multiplayer menu.)

8:47 Subtitles 😄 Seriously though, the planning, awesome build, Rosy Robot... Well played indeed! If you're wanting to find more diamonds this trick works pretty good. Look for two different types of ore close together. Find the center between them and dig a 2x2 hole straight down. At deepslate (y16) start putting poke holes on all four sides after every three blocks down. Always escivate gravel. Has worked every time I've done it. Doesn't matter where the starting ores are. Have even been in a deep cave and didn't find anything going down so pillared up instead. Bingo! 😊

the Mushroom biome reminded me of when I updated a mountain world I played on when 1.18 came out, the area on the other side had been desert but after optimization it turned in to one of the biggest Mushroom biomes I had ever seen in any of my play attempts
