So, fun fact. There's a sulfur rich volcano in Indonesia called Kawah Ijen. Its lava has a vibrant blue glow due to the sulfur content. It makes sense to me that your biome might have soulfires that break out periodically from the heat and sulfur.

It 'erupts' molten sulfur that catches fire. Due to the blue flame it's very difficult, if not impossible, to see the flames during the day and there have been some very nasty incidents as a result. One day I'll get to visit - it's on my bucket list as a Geologist. 🤓

Spoiled by lore first thing on a Wednesday morning! I don't know why anyone would skip- coming from experience in silviculture fields dealing with invasive species, however, I am actively wincing at that video. Sisyphus has nothing on the efforts to try and contain aggressively spreading species. Even without the lore, I love the base. I am a sucker for custom biomes and sci-fi builds. It doesn't need to be super complex, it's unique and cool.

Hey Ren! I wanted to offer a bit of an option for stirring the pot on Shor-T... Xisuma and the wool collective had already claimed the land that Bdubs and Scar built the terracotta shop on so, there may be a few options for messing with them because of this including but not limited to, evicting them from the land the wool collective already owned or literally building Wool Street on top of their shop! There are probably more options, too, but I think if you guys want a lore appropriate "legal" way to mess with shor-t and the corrupt Poe Poe that this may be it! Or Giga Corp might have a model that could rocket their shop into space:)

The TL;DR: Want Internet on your planet? Well, we're going to have to introduce an invasive species that pollutes it to power your modem, but don't worry we'll make a wall to keep it all in. Honestly, great PSA and lore. It kind of expands more dystopian large corporation practices of today to an intergalactic scale, including the PSA itself. Kind of reminds me of the BP ads South Park had after the oil pipeline burst years ago.

If you haven't seen them Rendog, you really ought to look at the current line of Lego City Space sets (Specifically sets 60434, 60439, and 60431) These space sets share a lot of similarities to your Giga Terraforming Mission, including color pallets. I've got three of the sets on my computer desk, and every time I watch one of your videos I pull one or two of them down to fiddle with them as I'm watching. Love your content, mate. Hey this new lore is kind of like my comment on the last video! I like the ways it’s different, though. Also, I think the iron golems actually fit the biome quite nicely. Maybe they’re cyborgs engineered from some creature from the squirtapod home planet as security, like the cybermen from Doctor Who. Thanks for the great episode as always Ren!

lore pitch for the villagers who didn't make the grade and ended up back in the breeding zone: a "GigaCorp(tm) employee replication unit" could be built to store them in, and then all the villagers that are retrieved from it could be considered "clones" or "replicants" who have been specifically designed to reach optimal employee efficiency when placed in the patented Gigacorp(tm) trading hall complex. Any villagers that come out with the wrong trades and end up getting "fired" have resulted from spores getting into the system and messing up the biological processes within (spore-proof technology is still under development)
