I think there needs to be a big Broadway revival of 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' and Renee should play Miss Mona Stangley, and the revival should have a re-write to have Miss Mona and Sheriff Ed Earl have a real romance (like Dolly & Burt did in the movie). And have it include "I Will Always Love You" by Dolly just like in the movie. I want to hear Renee sing that one, too!

she did GREAT! it's a unique song, never heard it before. it's probably difficult to sing, because the melody is not simple and the phrasing is a little complicated.

You’re right, I think it surprises everyone. I know it surprised me that Dolly didn’t write it because she’s such a prolific and gifted songwriter. Well she did perform it beautifully as did Renee Elise Goldberry. This song is really seeing a resurface lately. I guess it’s perfect for the times .
