When Matt said he paid over $40,000 for that lot of figures, I almost punched my screen. When he said he flipped the rest of the figures and made a profit, dropkicked my laptop. This man has quite the life. Good on him; he deserved much more than what he was given to work with in WWE.

People never get younger, if he didn’t get out he would be to old to accomplish anything. Old man Vince is out and so are most of his cronies so they won’t suffer like Matt and others did.

Matt Cardona has been a legend from the beginning. Knows how to bust his ass and never got utilized in WWE like so many others. So happy for Matt!!!

I’ve been held back at work doesn’t matter that it isn’t wrestling. You have no idea it is to endure and stay positive also make a monumental change to turn things around. I need a Matt Cardona shift.

You think going from WWE, for all the problems it has, to garbage matches with Nick Gage is an improvement on your overall worth in the wrestling industry?

Just wanted to say what an excellent interview. Listening to both Matt and Renee talk was really motivating. Glad to see that both turned their WWE releases into positives. However, Matt made it very clear that preparation, hard work, hustling, and developing positivity get you those results. Definitely needed to hear that this morning. Wishing the best for him and Renee. Keep up the excellent work!

I dont know how GCW doesn't have DRs on site... But that said, I was amazed Matt was able to go back to a hotel, rest, get on a plane, go to Disney, etc all in that shape. Curious what the hotel staff thought of the bed sheets? Lol. Sheesh.

More free agency is going to be the wave of the future for the wrestling industry. The "forbidden door" concept, from top to bottom, will benefit all of wrestling. Indy performers are getting more exposure and being taken more seriously, "superstars" are experiencing more freedom to do what they want...

I think it is hilarious when people say everyone is going to AEW or AEW only signs ex WWE guys when since April and the releases happened, they signed like 5 people lol. Also, what Marks fail to realize is that if any other bigger indie company signs an ex WWE employee, with the, "Forbidden door" being open, they are bound to show up on AEW TV. Who cares? LOL

What really sells how messed up GCW is is when Chris Van Vliet interviewed Nick Gage it was mentioned by Nick how "sanitized" and "safe" modern day GCW was... Yet modern day GCW is very much still crazy.. Makes me shudder to think what GCW was like back at it's peak...

wait, are we talking about the old Terminator T2 figures from the 90s or these the new NECA Terminator figures? Either one, id be mad pissed too Matt definitely has the right mindset. You'd think that the way Matt looks & reach, he'd be a top guy at WWE He wasnt, YET, he is still hustling and making a name for himself. As an actor myself, who was also in Gage's Dark Side of the Ring episode, i need to have the mindset that I cannot sit around and wait for things to happen. I gotta get out there, get the work, show myself and be seen. The work is out there but you need to put the work in to get it.

They can laugh, but having no medical staff there is inexcusable. At least in the UK, if we don't have NHS staff we have St. John's Ambulance at sports/entertainment events.
@OWlsfordshire
@OWlsfordshire 3 жыл бұрын
It's legal in the US because it's on camera. It's categorized as an exploitation film rather than a sporting event. Wrestlers also are not unionized, unlike actors. Lots of legal loopholes. There's also the fact that nobody cares if these mentally ill druggies injure or kill themselves in the ring.

@@kevoconnor145 I don't think there are even several hundred at a show like that. Of course they should have medical assistance, but it's not surprising to me at all that there isn't any.

It's exploitation. The fans and the promotion could care less about the wrestlers. Most of the wrestlers could care less as well as long as they get paid their drug money and they get social media attention from sociopaths on twitter. Most death match fans are fat girls on twitter, oddly enough
