Kirke was right in this. The town doctor said nobody died from the sickness, or while having the sickness, and implied nobody had died at all in the last few month since the sickness has been around (until the attack). So that means the remains in the cemetery are probably free of spores so far, and we should be burning all new bodies. Which is also why Mushroom Boy digging up a body would have been useless, and it's a good thing he instead autopsied a attack victim. (apart from - maybe everything and everyone in this town already is infected anyway, who says it's just the bread, or breadcrumbs didn't already contaminate the land? so Victor and Azad might be right, but we can't be sure, and they're definitely being careless)

I once played the perfect character to add to this group. A Hobgoblin: Fighter/Alchemist, he had a specialization in Surgery, and a decent background in Herbology. Dr Drencrathag Kullgoth was as skilled at taking apart corpses as he was at dismembering opponents. The mixture of parts of bodies and plants gave him acces to lots of stuff to experiment with for his Alchemy. Some of his more memorable quotes. "Tis more fun, when dey fight back." "Ya find lots O' interesten tings inside a body." "You don't look like you're gonna be needing that liver anymore, and I haven't eaten today." A conversation between Dr Kullgoth and Dr Victor about investigating this disease would be hilarious. Dr Kullgoth was LN, and had a rather brutally efficient personality when it came to solving problems.

@@hannajung7512 that's one of the interesting parts of D&D type setting, the "Science" of "Faith" because Cleric/Deity type gods often require "Faith" for spells to work; but Knowledge/Deities like Thoth required Intellectual/study for their Priest's powers to work.

I wonder if the bread was made with Pâte Fermentée. That would explain why Kirke was able to detect that the bread has... "killed", before. You see, Pâte Fermentée is a kind of "pre-ferment", that adds extra flavor to dough. And it's basically a piece of dough you take out of your main dough, and you just leave it to ferment for baking on the next day. That means that, the bread baked in the setting could have a little bit of ALL past breads that were made, which means that, technically, all of the breads are the same bread, and that could be why the "detect item" worked to assess that the bread had... killed, someone.

Lol, in one bag. Until you have tried to carry a dismembered corpse, you don't realize how akward it really is. I've been a hunter since I was a child, it's family tradition. I've packed out several different animals after field dressing, a body is very awkward to move, even with a meat pack.

@ShardTabletop4 ай бұрын
Hi Asha! First off, I'm so glad you're excited about trying out ToV on Shard! To answer your question though, we typically wait until the Tiltify campaign has concluded to fulfill the rewards. This is due to a number of reasons, the primary one being the efficiency of doing it all at once, versus doing multiple waves. But also in this case, we're still working with the cast to finalize their virtual dice! That being said, if we are able to complete the dice early, I will see if I can talk to our team about doing a mid-campaign fulfillment.
