yea man, renekton is not a brain dead champion like some people make him out to be. Simple kit sure, but he requires a ton of knowledge to have a positive WR with him over time in soloqueue.

Great guide, but I think that the matchup tierlist is accurate mostly for high elo. I'm a plat renekton player and in my elo (and I assume it only gets worse in even lower elos) the champs listed as hard lanes are too hard to pilot for the opponent, besides pantheon, making other matchups like illaoi more challenging imo. Great guide nonetheless!

Depends on what elo bracket you're in but for Renekton you don't need to ban anything specifically, just whatever you don't want to vs personally

Couple of questions if you don’t mind. 1. How to decide whether to Bork or not? 2. How do you gain the first push lvl 1? It seems like I’m always getting pushed in because q by itself, without the ability to gain some rage makes it really hard

Q is fine, but It depends on the matchup, you need to see if u can auto stacking fury then q, but also pushing is not always what you want, enemy can Freeze if he knows how It works and you Will lose exp and farm since enemy jg might Rush camps to gank you if you push too much

But which champs can run on renekton lv1 or make it really hard for him to conntest the wave if not leashing? i had problems vs sett/darius do i have to respect them lv1 super hard?

A lot of champs actually beat Renekton lv1. The best move is to make sure you get to minion wave and can get to the creeps faster. Don't necessarily auto push, but make it so the opponent has to waste autos on minions while you trade them. Remember that Renekton has super high kill pressure once he gets lvl3, so don't worry about losing your hp as much as your opponent. Use the early lvls to set them up for lvl3 kill. For some match ups taking E lvl1 is a good idea.

I try to play rene last few days and im loosing every matchup.. Idk what i do bad... but for example fiora who should be better for rene out dmg me in every game phase... Same goes for morde... I just cant deal enough dmg to one shot them or win trades :(

I'd recommend only picking Renekton mid vs other melee champions such as yasuo/yone/akali and rushing duskblade, not the strongest mid champ but be good as a counterpick

Very nice guide, only thing I disagree with is the matchups, stuff like illaoi, teemo, kled are very favored against renekton looking at high elo winrates, and the idea that one should play agressively level 1 against olaf is just int, if olaf hits a single q he can ghost and run down a level 1 renekton, looking at challenger vods renektons always play back level 1 and let olaf push in these matchups. But other than that, very helpful guide. I thought the playstyle of trad on waves 1 and 3 and don't crash 2 is a very important thing to think about.
