I got the game when it first released and got to lvl 60. Funnily enough that was back when I was a huge alcoholic so I hardly remember anything other than having a pretty good time. I’ll probably try it again (without booze this time).

Have 700hrs in the game. The beta’s character movements are better. Might jump back in during launch but will check out throne and liberty first.

It's been pretty damn good from what I've seen. A faaar cry from launch, which was fun, but lacked the polish/optimization that this has.

I found myself thinking about this game and wishing I could jump in and play today. This is very rare for me to feel when playing games. It may be all the way back to Skyrim the last time I had that feeling. It feels almost brutal to have to wait until October to play this. It could also be this is the first game like this I am getting to play with my son. He is now old enough to jump in with me.

I played it on my gaming laptop since launch, but because of an older MSI model the game didn't play too well and still got to lvl 30, after I bought a new one this year I played until level 42 and since the news of console waiting for this because outside of WOW and NW i am a console player. Many pc players where arguing about lag but the beta played really good on console for me.

The opening is better, the combat is better, the story is better... it's just better. I have had a more fun experience with this beta than I have had in years. Changes are 10/10.

Games only retain 5 - 10 percent of their total sales as a general rule. They fell well within the normal range of drop off.

6k ++ hours. im all inn for change and improvements. but if pc version gets dumbed down to support consol then we have a issue. not sure aboit tab target. kinda change alot when it comes to pvp and ranged. hope they balanced that alot now have aim bot. i think bow and musket need a 30-40% dmg nerf in pvp.

If there is auto aim now range Def needs to be nerfed. Less damage or slower rates of fire. Otherwise pvp with be a range sausage fest - lame af.

Played to level 21. We now know why we haven't gotten any new content all year ... AGS has redone the tutorial and made many hundreds, if not over a thousand, cut scenes that people who have already played (and new players after the first 50 or so) will just SKIP. I plan on getting to 25 so I get my free loot on my main come October and then wait for new content, other than just 1 dungeon (I'm not sold on the new PvP area).

Are we still going to have to pay for the expansion that released mounts, or will that be included? I bought the base game at launch but not the expansion.

If you are PC yes, you need to pay for the expansion before it will let you upgrade to the new version.

We really need more mmorpg like this for xbox. But I m not sure it s worth $60.I would pay $40 right now , but when a game passes $50 i need to be sure that I ll play at least 1-2 weeks 😂

Question.. so back when I played it on pc the game pretty much forced you to play dungeons with ppl to go through the story. Are you saying that’s no longer a thing? ( referring to you saying it’s single player ) I got to the last mission which was a dungeon pc but never beat it because nobody wanted to play it around the time I got to it.

Yes, you can do "solo trials" now instead of dungeons with other people to progress.

This was already changed a long long long long time ago. Dungeons all have alternative quests (solo version)

Cross play YES. Cross progression NO. Seperate versions of the game logging into the same server for cross play with everyone, but you need to pay for each individual version JUST LIKE YOU DO WITH EVERY OTHER game out there like FFXIV or No Man's Sky or

I'm curious how the switch to the new "version" will work for existing Characters. I know they are introducing Virgin servers for new characters but not wiping existing characters. A lot of questions there. Mainly will you be able/have to do the mainline quests over again? Will you be at a disadvantage if you don't/can't.

They function the same. I prefer xbox for longer sessions, but the haptic feedback on the PS5 is nice for games that support it

Either u keep ur char at a legacy server, or you can make a new char in Fresh Start server.

How is the grind in Aeternum??? Is the same grind like the original??? For example to grind for the tables to craft it took forever back 2 or 3 years ago…

The only downfall is that you have to purchase the game a second time if you want to play it on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox. Then in addition to that PlayStation wants you to subscribe to PlayStation Plus because it's an online game and you're required to have PlayStation Plus to make the game work. That's a ridiculous amount of money for a game I've already purchased once for my PC. Fun game though, just can't afford all that a second time.

That's not a downside. That's called the CONSOLE EDITION. Like, you know, the fact I own one version of FFXIV on PS5/4, and another on the PC. Or Baldur's Gate 3, which I own on the PC and the Xbox Series X. MANY games do it like these. You are paying for the developer's time to make the other edition. It shouldn't be free on console just because you own it on PC.

Why would I go from PC to console?? That makes no sense. Also AGS doesn't control playstation plus. Like genuinely why would you buy the console version if you have it on PC. Console and PC will be exactly the same when the update launches.
