I tanked it with the flail powerstone and s&s 420ish con ​put carnelians in both weapons and we did good. No wipes till we got to the last boss and I just had to learn the mechanics. @ChristopherGamington The 20% weakon from powerstone and the rend from heavy attacks from my sword worked pretty good.

Not true he definitely does headbutts also you don’t have to kite him around the whole map just kite him around in one area of the map like the right side and when his stamina is low bring him middle also as a tank you should have all slash protection amulet would be nice but it’s not a big deal if you see the headbutt coming and you can’t avoid it dodge if you have the wall just block if he leaps on you and you have the wall just block you’ll be fine the first boss is not a big deal if you know the mechanics

Getting 700 GS isn't the grind it once was. Also the content that Fresh are doing to get into this raid is the content legacy played for 3 years. So unless people are in a rush to get bored with nothing to work towards then doing all the other content is kind of the point of fresh.

@@TamToucan on my server (it even is fresh start), people wont invite you to the party if you are not gs 710-715+. getting 700 is easy yeah. Also got the perfect perks to the 700 gear. But still they dont inv you xD

The biggest problem is ppls ego. On my server it goes like this: Lfm Gorgon (715GS min!) link gear, TOKEN(!) and consumables! Need 3 MAJOR trophies!!! U meet the requirements? Oh, no token! Sry cant take u. U must go to obtain one in first place? sry mate 🤷‍♂️

Number one rule for completing the Gorgon raid ... ONLY do it with people who aren't idiots. This raid isn't so much about gear as it is mechanics. KNOWING the mechanics and being able to execute those mechanics is key. Yes, gear is needed, but it's pretty basic stuff really. I don't know how many times I've seen people kill the group on the second boss because they have the red circle on them (or black eyes) and just stand there attacking the boss. The other is when the birds show up and they don't target them FIRST, then the wolves. If a bird is on the field, 99% of the time, you stop what you are doing and kill it.

If you don't want to join a company that does runs then starting your own group and explicitly saying it's for first timers who want to try is the way to go.There are likely loads of players in the same situation. By watching this video the heavy lifting of knowing what to do has already been done for you. Even if you fail you will learn which is a large part the MMO experience IMO.

The community on my server is very helpful, lots of groups helping new players. 1 you need to do the work to make sure you are prepared, 2 you need to be able to use voice, if u have social anxiety and don't want to talk. Thats on you. Not them. 3 do your research unless said group is a blind group. People have schedules and either alot of time or not. Don't waste their time and yours. 4 this is an mmo. Join a company.

I have to say, I am not super impressed with these relaunch numbers. I feel like we're already starting the depopulation snowball AGAIN after JUST getting a bunch of people back. SteamDB is very telling, and although people like to hand wave these things away, those people are the same people that hand waved away the last snowball that started when we had 5,000 people left and the servers all felt dead with dust and cobwebs. We definitely don't have all the data for consoles, but I think it would be delusional to say we had a proportionally massive boost from console compared to Steam, and it would be just as delusional to say that console players are not dropping off as rapidly as returning PC players have been VERIFIABLY dropping off at a high rate this past month. I don't think it is a good sign to log on at *any* point and there not be a SINGLE server in the entire game that sits above "Low" population status. A healthy population would be more like a few servers at least being Medium even in the morning as it is when I type this comment now. **I'm curious what your thoughts are on this.** ----- This was supposed to be a pretty significantly large re-brand and re-launch, but it came across more like a f@rt in the wind, and now we're RAPIDLY getting right back to where we were JUST A MONTH AGO, and it makes it difficult for me to recommend anyone buying this expensive game in the current state of things from the bugs, to the lack of clear direction, to the rapidly and consistently deteriorating population status.

I think it is because they don't want to draw attention to comments that show the game is dying because their revenue is based on New World and nothing else (What a sad existence. Like how do you make money posting content for this game, of all games?) I'm sure we'll get a roadmap, but by the time we do we'll have lost even more players when we've already lost so many in just the last 30 days. It's kind of a shame... emphasis on "kind of." - I don't like seeing games die, but when the game does everything it can to earn that death... well... you know... "auf Wiedersehen" as they say.

Its not hard raid We doing it at phoenix fresh start 7-dds 5 of them evade 1 bleed and 1 inf skewer + tank and two healers Most of dds can have rapier + musket for fast run

Played the raid a couple times, my experience wasn’t the best.. at first. After meeting great players and imposing standards to meet, doing the raid was easy! First group we were able to kill first boss, got stuck on 2nd. A day later, I form a group identify who is good and who isn’t and kick those who can’t adapt to the raid mechanics (it’s the easiest part). Long story short, I’m saying don’t be afraid to give expectations, learn everything you can, especially from your mistakes :) Good things come to those who wait.

You can get good gear by doing chest runs which are easy. Get to 680-700 with good perks, people will take you.

Appreciate the video great work. Tried the raid for the first time and was kicked after 1 mistake and death. Will have to redo my whole build because people were complaining about ig/vg setup. Not sure why they would make a raid where certain weapons arent viable so i have to play something other than what i want to play this raid. Probably gonna find another game to be honest.

With Medusa I highly disagree. I killed her every week. Ignore eggs. Kill adds. Every dps goes ranges. This means little movement = this means dps group up at fountain. Everyone can be cleasend. Easy to evade all other mechanics. Tank on 1 fountain. Dps on 1 fountain. Healer in between both groups at 3rd fountain. And hive only needs 1 healer. 1. Focus adds with Elefants/flowers/rest 2. Ignore eggs. 3. Tanks gather adds if possible. All roatet to new fountain. 4. Back to #1. Fokus boss if no adds available. Clease group if Medusa spits at someone. That's it tbh.

You need couple of people with gs or hatchet to clear eggs and run is way less chaotic. No one went bellow 50% HP.

@dievas_ no you don't. Just did it the second time this week. Everyone stays ranges. Don't move at all. Except dodge rare charges and if adds charges you. She summons at best 3 adds at once. They are not even truly elite sometimes. Just blast them instantly. Don't waste dps on a high ho regenerating egg. Just blast the spawning add. Also if everyone is range = way easier to kill flowers anyway. I killed now the Boss every week outside of the first two? And I even killed her twice often for company runs after

Apparently the hardest part about this raid is getting into a group lol. I tried making my own but one wipe and people leave. It’s just too stressful. I wish they’d do a looking for raid activity finder where you can just Q and the minimum requirement is just 700GS. At least if people leave it’ll always find someone to replace.

Like, no shade to New World, I like the game, BUT if you compare it to something like Lost Ark raids, RIP to that game, this seems like a cakewalk. Yes but the only problem with this Run is even though it’s MSQ quest as well you will need around 9-12 months gameplay to even get in there and not because this is how long to get the level and the gear but because nobody literally nobody will take you without experience matter of fact if you mention that you just started the game everybody will just ignore you and your questions. For the past 2 weeks I’ve been thru 3 servers trying to get help and advise and nothing. The community of the game is the bottom of the rubbish bag which is sad the game itself is good.
