Technically, Renji didn't learn his Bankai "super fast". Being able to manifest one's Zanpakuto Spirit is a requirement to reaching Bankai (when achieving it through normal means of training for a decade). The fact that Renji was already able to do that indicates he had already been training for it a while and was already in the very last stages

When Byakuya said your "fangs definitely reach me" I think is more like Renji's determination

It's Renji's sword. It reached him, but it broke on contact. Byakuya says "fang" because he likens Renji to a beast trying to reach him through the reflection on the water.

In bleach you can’t hurt someone if their spiritual pressure is above yours that’s why ichigo couldn’t cut kenpachi and why renji sword broke on byakuya

Bleach's combat rules can be really inconsistent, especially the "greater spiritual pressure nulls hax/damage" rule. Ichigo not being able to cut Kenpachi was a matter of resolve not a deficiency in spiritual pressure since he wasn't being amped by Zangetsu until he was on death's door. There are several more instances of this happening throughout the series SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED THE ANIME OR READ THE MANGA such as when Aizen is able to stab through Yamamoto even though by his admission Yamamoto is stronger than him, when a fodder Sternritter like Nanana is able to knock Hogyoku amped Aizen unconscious during the TYBW, or when godly beings like Lille and Gerard are able to be damaged by the Captains.

@@polygon2745 Ichigos lack of resolve and focus is what held back his spiritual pressure. For Aizen case, his spiritual pressure and Yamas wasnt worlds apart due to the fact that Yammato had to hold back and/or if i remember had his shikai taken away from him by WonderWeiss...well that and he had to hold back since Yamas powers were too strong.

@@polygon2745 his resolve had an adverse effect on his reiatsu. Kenpachi even says it after his sword goes through zangetsu. He wasn’t condensing his reiatsu on his blade, he was just letting it flow freely. If you’ve read even the manga you must know that by concentrating reiatsu, it can cut through better rather than having scattered reiatsu

@@polygon2745 Well I thought that rule applied to only “ a battle between soul reaper captains” (or soul reapers can’t remember the exact quote). This was said by Aizen as he was easily able to overcome Soi Fons bankai.

@@UnifiedEntity Wonderweiss hadn't sealed Ryujinjakka when Aien stabbed through him and Yama wasn't holding back {other than not using Bankai). He was literally ready to kill himself along with every other Soul Reaper in Fake Karakura with Ennetsu Jigoku.

Renji's Bankai is powerful but because it's so large there's just no way he could evade Rukia's brother with it. Byakuya has decades of experience using his Bankai. Also Byakuya is really REALLY good at Kido and Renji is well....Kido isn't his strong suit. Lol I will give him full credit for going after Rukia after just learning it.

Byakuya has one of the most beautiful zanpakuto. When translated Senbonzakura means "One thousand cherry blossoms."

No he didn’t. Remember when he and Ikkaku had the conversation after Tosen defected. Renji knew Ikkaku was the only ranked officer who achieved bankai and was able to be a captain

I'm not sure if you're familiar with abridged series, but the one for bleach is pretty funny. People frequently comment on how much blood Renji has. Although abridged moves faster than the official release, so Episode 10 of bleach abridged by project mouthwash actually concludes this ark.

I feel like y’all would benefit from watching the dub lots so that way you can talk and still absorb all the story cause there’s looots of talking in bleach. And the dub is amazing! It has tons of great voice actors But either way great reaction as usual
