It's my way of teaching and has worked wonders so far. I live in Brighton and Ren / his band The Big Push are a huge part of the street culture. They busk a lot here and I’ve seen them quite a few times by accident. I always thought he was amazing at singing, but didn’t realise the extent of his talent until recently - and now feel like I took it for granted! I'm with you, Amanda. I'm also nearly 60. Can't take my eyes off this young man. Maybe because experience has tauight us how rare he is. I appreciated Eminem's uniqueness and Ren is chomping at his heals in the rap department, but then his mastery of guitar, vocals, and performance is so good, and it is the music I love so much. I doubt there is anything he can't do. I have listened to The Hunger maybe 50 times just in the last 24hrs. It's nuts how good he is. I rang my brother to tell him to check him out and he says , " you know I'm not into rap" and then adds that I should check out the talent of this UK band doing 'I Shot the Sheriff', The Big Push! This one is so deep that it gave me chills and made me think about my darkest times. This man is amazing and his music helped me a lot, it was there for me in dark or light, if you know what I mean. There are few things in this world that make me feel high without chemical substances. This song is one of them. When a song hits me lyrically and the melody, accompanying music and sounds are all singing to each other, I can actually feel high.
