I have been in sim racing for many years and still can't understand how some players say "this car is bad" or "brakes are bad". Unless you drove the car in real life (and arguably if you did, too), the car is what it is and drives as it drives. You just drive it to its limit, as any other car. If it brakes less than others, you brake early. If oversteers, you just turn less or use less throttle and that's it. Regarding using ISI base code, it should be good news. Probably the best physics up to date.

you can enable the cars in singeplayer by going through the settings you must mark them as playable else you dont see them

For nvidia gpus - DLAA for the anti-aliasing solved the fuzziness issue for me. Now game looks very good.

Default brake bias is tuned so that anyone can drive the car. You can definitely change it a bit to make it feel more to your taste

You can drive tcr cars in solo. Just need to activate them in allowed cars of the session rules.

Just got in and my... What a let down. Yeah it is a beta, but I have a hard time justifying playing this game over any other... Graphics are mid, sounds are terribad, driving feeling is ok at best. Still a long way to go.

I just got my Beta code and the game literally wont recognize my simtrec throttle, which is paired with the Simucube active pedal it only recognizes that! Active pedal is great but it cant be a throttle a clutch and a brake all simultainiously lmao

I personally don’t really care that much for graphics. Sound I find more important BUT the ffb feel and physics are for me the most important and what I’m most disappointed about.

Regarding the ISI physics, didn't they claim that they're building an entirely new physics model from scratch? I think that's the part of the issue.

Indeed.. Making a claim that you're building a sim from the ground up when you've actually bought a physics engine is entirely different to Reiza buying and developing the madness engine.. they never hid that fact.. So drawing a comparison there is a bit weak imo.. Truth is, nobody really cares HOW they build their product, but they WILL care if you try to pull the wool over their eyes!

Also got a key yesterday....The Praga FFB is so heavy it just clips way off the scale in any corner. Then load a gt3 car is it's light as a feather, The cars feel completely disconnected from the road, absolutely no front end feel. the Mercedes is the worst of the lot for this, I know it's in beta but I feel sad for the esport guys that have to compete with the game in this state. I hope with time they can get a solid physics engine working and breathe some life into the cars.

Even the FM has a way more lively FFB system and they barely started using it properly in that game. It's still not bad to drive though, but yea, I do wish FFB was stronger.

I don't understand people complaining about "braking too early/long" That's how ACC messed up everything. Their 1st version felt like slowing down a car was too accurate, you could feel the car mass. Then while still in beta, some people complained about it, and they pushed an update that made the car much lighter than it should

I got access to the Closed beta with this new wave and so far I like it. Considering the feedback I had previously seen, mainly on KZbin, In had very low expectations and I'm pleasantly surprised. I do agree that the cars feel easy/safe to drive overall, I wish they were a bit more lively. Graphics wise it looks very good and runs very well for me running at 4K+DLAA and the EPIC preset. Sound wise it's more of a mix bag and so definitely can use more work. *NOTE* you can try the TCR cars in Single Player/Practice, you have to go in the "Drivers" -> "Allowed Cars" menu and make sure they are selected.

Interior sounds are amazing, but exterior are alright, specially in the Hyundai. It's pretty enjoyable to drive in the game so far.

The Praga works great with my Logitech G Pro wheel and pedals it feels like it has some weight to it unlike all the others so far,the Hyundai is quite good too IMO!

It feels a little like ACC but with less FFB information and simplifyed physics, the Porsche probably feels the best out of all the cars so far but comparing Rennsport to rFactor2 this feels light years behind still. I hope they can at least get on par with ACC in a few years.

One of the new 15000 beta key guys here. the physics are pretty good, but not really impressed with the graphics at all at this point. The graphics seem a bit grainy to me. Shadows seem to be missing on the cars ahead of me also for some reason, even on with Ultra settings. The fences also seem to have a lot of sparkle to them, which is a bit distracting.. I was really expecting the game to look much more like the renderings I've seen it, which is not the case at all. ☹

If you use frame capping it will have terrible frame timing, it's possible to get it smooth but you have to mess around the graphics, something I hate doing.
