"Is it 'overkill?'" The answer is no. Why? Well, we have the recent scenario with Vince Ricci in LA who only had 2 rounds left after multiple attackers came at him. Now the LA Sheriffs Department has rescinded his CCW permit after "yelling" at officers when they came to his house a few days after to investigate, and he called their investigation "sloppy". I hope that Vince files a 42 USC 1983 lawsuit against the LA Sheriffs Department for violating his civil rights (Second Amendment and First Amendment).

The police are just angry because this guy is the CEO of a big studio that has been connected with talent like Chance the Rapper. Vince has exposed the ineptitude of California law enforcement, and he has a big platform as well as being elevated by Colion Noir and the NRA now. LA County Sheriffs Department likely did this as retribution for Vince exposing law enforcement. It was a bad move and it will cost them.

A tip with the POM spray, the top and bottom half can rotate so I make sure the back where to use your finger to spray is lined up with the pocket clip. That way when your pull it out of your pocket its lined up perfectly for your index finger.

I drive for a living so I use the proteq IWB crossdraw at about 10:30 It's the best I could find to comfortably carry my PX4 compact. My knife is a leatherman surge, it comesn handy almost every day. My flashlight is the Thrunite BSS. It has a lot of useful settings on the side switch plus a tail switch for an instant turbo mode for defensive use. I like the option on momentary on, because I want to be able to blind someone then move. Pepper spray is really bad to use inside a bus so I carry a stun gun. My belt is the Kore essentials.

Needless to say, if you will lose your CCW and even right to carry at all (and lose your weapon, etc). Of course if you're a LEO, judge, etc. you're good to go.

There was already a case that played out a few years ago where some thick skulled DA decided to prosecute a legal CCW holder that was found to be in possession of a 15 Rd mag. They found it only cuz he lived with his brother who was on parole which is why their residence was being searched by LE. He informed them that the mag had been legally purchased during freedom week and that should've been the end. But the DA decided to make up some rules and insisted that a receipt or some form of proof of purchase during freedom week was required and used that as an excuse to charge the man. Long story short, case was ultimately dismissed which validated the defendants steadfast claim that he was under no obligation to prove the purchase...it was up to the DA to prove that it was an illegal purchase that did not happen during freedom week. So the DA forced this man to go thru hell both emotionally and financially before finally being forced to dismiss the charge and pretend as if it never happened. But that case basically set an important precedent that makes it clear that a citizen is under no obligation to provide proof of purchase.

Theres plenty of videos on that subject already including going over court cases that already have verdicts. At the end of the day, do it at your own discretion. Some people think you shouldn't carry off roster or modify your gun in anyway (including adding grip tape or a red dot or a light) some people think otherwise. A bad lawyer can argue anything, whether its the choice of gun or the choice of color of your shirt.

Answer, to "get away with carrying a 22 round mag" as of 10/23/24 you need to be lucky and never caught. But when you take your firearm test or fill out a myriad of forms to carry CCW, the State makes it abundantly clear you're only allowed to carry 10 round mags, so carry as many as you wish. Otherwise, if you're apprehended, you'll be charged with a crime for having a Large Capacity Magazine over 10 rounds (LCM)! California Penal Code § 32310 PC will be invoked for possessing, selling, purchasing, giving away, transporting, manufacturing and certainly when inserted in your firearm. Possessing is a tweener - misdemeanor up to $100 and/or up to 1 year in jail. And for all the other items above can be charged as a felony for up to 3 years in the slammer. If you have a legally acquired G19 15 round mag, are you allowed to add an extension for more rounds? Inknow you cannot use them with 10 round magazines

I just have version 1.0 of the M&P Shield for concealed carry (on my property in CA as CCW is not available in my county). I need to renew my out-of-state CCW, just to have it. I might add that some people might think a gun is hidden in a fanny pack or other form of pouch.

@@RenoMay Not true. Not my county. It's a lie here. They just sit on stacks of applications. Only people who donated thousands of dollars to a corrupt sheriff could get them in my county. Very few can get approved. You can apply, but good luck ever getting a CCW in my county. My buddy, a former Army sniper, has been waiting for 1 1/2 years so far since he applied. I'm not even wasting my time until things change. It sucks. :(

Just picked up a VNSH Holster and it is comfortable. I'm in Texas and wear shorts alot, you can't tell that I am conceal carry. Bought one for the wife as well.
