It is so nice that you acknowledge the land and practices of indigenous peoples and to repairing the effects of colonization, all while showing the beauty of the cockatoos in the rain. That was a really special ending to this lovely video!!!

I just wanted to say how inspirational you all are. I am 65, living on the edges of lockdown London on a huge urban estate. That said, you give me the nudge to continue to turn my little garden into a mini food forest with chickens, even when UK weather is less than encouraging and the old body is complaining! A real tonic. God bless all.

@@maj8301 The only one deluded here is you. You're kind of right on one thing though, the climate HAS been changing since the beginning of time, more specifically the co2 in our atmosphere has been changing since the beginning of time. In all of HUMAN history the co2 in our atmosphere has fluctuated between 180-300ppm and for at least 500,000 years the co2 in our atmosphere hasn't gone above 300ppm. This changed after 1950 when it went above 300ppm for the first time in 500,000 years. Today it sits at 416ppm and it continues to rise.

Slow living is certainly on trend. More and more more people are trying to reduce their stress, simplify their lives and slow down : returning to a more basic lifestyle like the past. This channel clearly depicts a lifestyle of the past in a pure artistic and calming way. When I reflect on my life in the past months prior to finding this channel, I can't believe I used to hate and feel stuck living here in the countryside You make us see the beauty in the simple things, even as simple as sowing seeds,🌱 nurturing it and watching it grow , You helped me see my situation as a blessing and I am so thankful 🌿☀️🌈

Hi girls. Looks nice out there surrounded by so many edible plants and fruits of your own. At 5:59 I thought you said water jambu, but further ahead at 6:49 I heard it correctly, wax jambu. Anyway, here in malaysia, we malays call that jambu air, direct translation: water jambu. I love it if it's sweet and juicy, just wash it and dip it in soy sauce, thick and a bit salty, or even a bit chili-hot, mixed with a little sugar, yum! A second type of jambu, which I also like, is called jambu batu, direct translation: rock jambu, which is actually guava. We cut that into thumb-sized pieces, sprinkle generously with asam boi, also yummy! 😋
