Laura Hart That’s not actually true. Packs can work with other packs in the Sims 4 without everyone having to buy both of them. For example, in Island Living you can use mermaid powers to change the weather IF you have Seasons, but people who don’t have Seasons aren’t obligated to get it in order to use Island Living.

The SUB (Student Union Building) at my school was...kind of sad when I was there, and kind of meaning it's really just an old old old old old building, not that it was gross or anything. And since I've graduated they have COMPLETELY revamped it. It's SO nice now. There's a food court, a bowling alley and game room, a performance area for concerts or watch parties, a bunch of computers and study areas, the mailroom is in the SUB, upstairs is where all the fancy stuff is and it's got a bunch of offices, a *super* fancy great room, and a lot of study area. At Christmas they put a HUGE tree in the foyer and it is so gorgeous.

Our student union was the same my Mom had back in the 1970s, possibly even including the coin-operated pool tables near the lower level exit outside the book & school stores. They remodeled it within 5 years after I left into something much nicer and almost unrecognizable in some locations. I think what you've done is more along the lines of what came after my experience and it looks great! Much better than what shipped with the game.

I go to community college but our student union isn't too bad. Kind of like this, lots of tables for the cafeteria +a large coffee/pastry counter that's separate from the cafeteria section. No ping pong tables or TV tho. Some of the other buildings have some cool setups. Lit/Lang building has some good seating for in between classes, large computer lab next door, and the stem building has a kitchen/lounge that the teachers let the stem club students use (students who spend their free time on robotics projects at school for the club, they let me visit a few times and check it out) and they sometimes bring food for stem club students. Our library is the best, and the outdoor seating is pretty good

My student union building was huge. It had a cafeteria plus several restaurants, a bar with pool tables, bowling alley, convenience store, copy store, lounge, art gallery, ballrooms (sometimes used for concerts), a huge seating area, club offices, classrooms, part of the guidance counselor offices, a radio station, a rooftop quad with basketball hoops, etc., a two-story parking garage, and bookstore. The bookstore is now a Barnes & Noble that sells Starbucks. There used to be a computer lab, but I'm not sure what they've turned that into. And I'm sure I'm forgetting things.

for those of us who don't have all the packs yet, could u maybe consider uploading ur specific renovations to the gallery? for example, if I wanted to use ur renovation of the Foxbury commons, but don't have the other packs that are in your smilie save (in other worlds), you could upload specific lots to the gallery, and we could use just them, rather than the whole game. still kind of like a smilie save, but we can download the lots we want. at the moment, in order to use ur builds, we have to have the simsie save, which uses other pack in other worlds, and if I don't have those, I can't get the simsie save, and can't use ur builds. thanks Kayla, love ur stuff!!

When I went to college twice (I'm only 23) and each college was a community one so I never got to do the whole dorm thing or anything like that,and my first college was more a trade school and then the 2nd one was more traditional community college but the only thing close to a sorta hang out space was a place called the commons? But it was one small space with vending machines so everyone was packed in there and if you wasn't friends with any of the big groups/clubs there was NO WAY possible for you to find a seat in there anyway,and if you sadly was like me and got there early enough to do work and eat as soon as one persons friend came and sat near in the space I was in their friends would flood it and basically push you outta your own space you claimed because you was random person and they needed the space to be comfy and it really sucked because the only other available spaces where on the 2nd floor in a completely different building over 30 feet away from the building where my first class was in,main reason I ended up dropping out at that point,2 hard long semesters and 7 classes down the drain for literally nothinggg,well that and I failed 2 classes,1 each semesters and even when I went todo summer courses to bring them back from the dead but didn't work and I'm too poor so once the scholarship left I was outta luck,and now I will live through my sim horribly

Our student union ~equivalent~ is really cool!! For some reason my school has an accent color of like....aged copper, which is really pretty! But our student union connects to the library thru a corridor, and most of it is in the basement because it’s Chicago and we have no space but also because it’s on the lakefront so the view couldn’t be obstructed. The basement floors are just rows and rows of archives and stuff. It’s really quiet and a lil spooky. The whole back of the student union is glass on the lakefront and there are chairs and desks facing the lake so you get to study w a view!!!

I've been saying it for years now that we need a Tiny House stuff pack. We could have Murphy beds, bunk beds, I used to say mini fridges but we did just get them for university, counter cooktops, the storage option like in University with the chest, so you could have like, coffee pots and stuff in the chests that you pull out when your sim needs them, planter boxes for windowsills and counter tops that you can actually plant in, dual shower-stall-and-toilets. There's so much potential in the Sims 4 for tiny living, and it's one of the biggest trends in Sims 4 build videos to make tiny houses, it's about time we get some tiny house stuff!
