@@heatherh6885 I can understand so much so how you are feeling. My father passed away in 2014 and I still miss him every single day. Five nights ago, he visited me in my dream and it had been a very, very long time since I experienced that. It never gets easier, but try to remember the good memories and hold onto them. Sometimes they will come to you when you aren’t even expecting it and it is bittersweet because it brings on tears, but it makes you feel closer to them when those emotions and memory come on strongly. It is still so fresh for you and the first two anniversaries are some of the toughest. My dad told me before he passed to cry when I need to and to never hold it inside but to experience what I am feeling because tears are healing. It is some of the best advice I can pass onto anybody else going through grief.. holding it in is never a good thing.I am sorry for your loss, love! 💓💓💓 I also wish for so many things that can never happen, like that my dad could meet my fiancé whom I met very shortly after he passed..literally a few months. It is very bittersweet. Knowing he can’t walk me down the aisle is why we are still engaged after 7 years to be honest. I don’t have a vision for what I want for my wedding so we’ll probably just elope eventually.

Hey when you get chickens you should talk to a local farm Sanctuary! They often have a lot of them they're looking for adopters for. I went to one yesterday and they had roosters rescued from cock fighting. I held one and he snuggled up and fell asleep in my arms. Just the absolute sweetest baby.

When we were living in Jersey my dad thought it would be a good ideal to do home renovations in the winter because it was cheaper. It took longer to get done because of the snow. Hope everything gets done for her in a timely manner.

I haven't seen my parents in forever because of a long lockdown here in Melbourne, Australia. Bruce reminds me sooo much of my Daddyo who was my best mate 😊 Always prepared and knows what to do with fixing or building anything! I lost him on July 9th last year (not covid) and I am absolutely loving watching Morgan's house renovations and the whole process with Bruce as it brings back so many awesome memories I had with my Dad building the dog kennel, back patios, redoing bathrooms etc. Ugh just puts the biggest smile on my face when I really don't feel like smiling ❤

Finding the perfect group or company to work on your home, doing the research on supplies, prepping the house, etc.! Of course, it depends on how big the project is, but a whole barn is definitely going to take time, so don’t feel pressured to speed things up :) Take your time because in the end this is your home and your investment. I live in Colorado and have chickens! They actually do better in the cold than the heat. They just snuggle up to each other, and you can also put a heater in their coop if you need to. Would be happy to answer any questions you have 😊❤️

Usually people put out fresh hay or straw for their coup, plus a nice heat lamp or two. Keeps the chickens warm and happy. Guineafowl make great alarm systems. Lol. Plus they eat bugs and ticks and not your garden, they way chickens will.

I totally agree!! Guineafowl are amazing guard pets! They are extremely loud when necessary and not so necessary 🤣 I'm in SWFL so our winters are nothing like the rest of the country but we use the heat lamp often for the chicks depending on the time of the year and if they get brooded inside the house or out in the pen.

Your dad is so sweet. These are such special moments with him, make sure you take it all in and stop recording sometimes. Hes tough! He just rips things off with ease. I got locked out of my car and I watched my dad rip the door open at the top enough to get a hanger in and open it. Hr drilled through his finger and kept working. My husband does the same thing too, and your dad reminds me of my dad. He passed at 59, from Lou Gehrigs, after getting diagnosed 8 months earlier.
