I hope you're all keeping safe and well in Lockdown! Living in a city like Auckland, it really can be hard to get ahead and the cost of living can make life incredibly difficult. That's why it's always so inspiring for us to meet couples like Cam and Amanda and share their story and how they managed to get a step onto the housing ladder thanks to a tiny house! It's nice to see the longer term perspective in regards to understanding how realistic/sustainable this living can be! Thanks for another great video! Hope everyone is staying safe

It is good for livability, but it also requires longer stretches of plumbing and potentially wastes floor area creating a connecting corridor rather than continuous usable space (especially for smaller tiny houses).

@princekareem4 жыл бұрын
Some places don't allow it. You'll notice the Australian ones (for example) are always on a property that has another, main residence somewhere on it - this is because most states consider it to be like a parked 'caravan'. Or you can stay on your land temporarily - while you design and build a 'real house'. It's a shame really. At least in NZ, you'll see tiny homes in urban areas. It's great they're openminded enough for that.

Lovely home, I am a minimalist still in training, and I love that they have enough space for hanging clothes...

Beautiful, creative home. I love how open and airy it is. I so enjoy watching these videos to see how people design these imaginative dwellings! I think it should be noted, as demonstrated in other videos on living rent free, the key to finding a "way out of the rent trap" is not the tiny house, it is being part of a landowning family.

This is so awesome eventually when I can get back on my feet with finding a job I plan to make a tiny home myself. I'd love to move to the California state before doing it but if it's on wheels then it wouldn't matter. Also I have no idea how to design or any kind of skills but definitely willing to give it a go with blue prints.

Nodesza 0 theres a tiny home community on an old campground in SD county near the city of alpine, I saw it online lAst week. Property is on the pacific crest trail! Rental space was 750 per mo including utilities. There was even a restaurant nearby.

What a lovely space and cozy layout! Sometimes I just watching your videos, Bryce, to get a nice mood) Thousands tiny homes across the world made with an owners's souls size of the whole world outside of it. Great channel. Love it.

Yeah, still safe and lockdown. Good thing there's new episodes. Making us feel inspired inspite of the difficulties we're experiencing. Stay safe everyone.
