Fortunatley I haven't had much of the problems as others, but I love diving my Fisker. Love the range and comfort compared to my i3.

Great interview and information - as usual! 😎 From my perspective, American Lease and Joulez are both fairly positive about the Fisker Ocean even with the Fisker bankruptcy. I also have anxiety with owning my Ocean but this makes me realize there are a lot of nice aspects of the Ocean. I enjoy California mode also! And, definitely enjoy driving an EV over an ICE. Thank you, Adam and Micah!

Well, just today, 10/25/24 I bought a Fisker Ocean One. I was up diown, over and out but ended up getting an education on risk tolerance vs. an understanding of the risk and potential solutions. So, I ended up being comfortable yet aware. And the deal was way WAY WAY too tempting. Cheers and best of luck to you and all, and I guess that now includes me.

@K9Trixx26 күн бұрын
@@Aslash304 It doesn't go off that often. Randomly happens for a day and goes back to dormant. I do believe it's whatever start up cycle sequence you kick the drive off with is what you're stuck with for the ride until the next sleep cycle.

I've seen the same thing in the UK - there is an EV called the Funky Cat Ora which sold terribly, like really bad. Think single digits. It's not an awful car, but it wasn't as great, wasn't cheap and had zero brand recognition. So compared to other Chinese EV startups like BYD, MG sales just tanked. So I think the company has written off a lot of stock selling them to lease / rental companies because when I rent in Europcar they usually have 4 or 5 of them. Now I don't tend to rent electric vehicles but if I did, or was intending to lease one, then I'd probably pick up a bargain on an Ora. And it's not my problem if the thing breaks down or the parent company goes bust.

Thanks for the interview, Adam! 🤔 Joulez is a pretty catchy name. EV hopefuls need to start with a software defined vehicle, not perhaps a designer with popular designs in ICE. Volvo is talking central CPU and AI use. I’m hearing that Honda is providing familiarization as part of the sales process of the EVs they sell. I check the FSRNQ listing as a matter of course and out of curiosity in the bankruptcy proceeding. It appears that FSRNQ has become unquoted and unlisted on the OTC, though I haven’t heard about of any extinguishment of the shares. I’ve checked the docket on Veritas, there doesn’t seem to be any legal notice of extinguishment.
@Aslash30426 күн бұрын
Joulez definitely is a pretty catchy name. When a company enters liquidation, the trading of its shares is halted. They are then “deemed worthless.” But it’s not immediate. If you had shares, it’s just a short wait between now and the time you can write them off as a capital loss. The only question will be which year will you get your report the loss.
@effingsix382526 күн бұрын
@@Aslash304 Thanks, any trading halt aught to have been announced. In this case, a ‘no quote’ delisting occurred. What that means is a security still exists and the active information is on the ‘legend’. This is typical of an escrow condition, probably part of the escrow arrangement. Just my guess! Investopedia has an excellent article on ‘escrowed shares’

Did he say nothing had shattered or broken on his car and that the build quality is great? There are a lot of things i love about the build but you cant say its that great. The door handle light covers literally shattered (interesting that he used the same word) and brake covers break among other things. The is definitely comfortable though. I do like what this guy is doing and i hope it works. From the way my car has veen, i sadly foresee way more things breaking as we start getting some of these cars into higher milage.

So, I am an Uber driver. I wanted to buy a Fisker Ocean. By the way I never received my deposit back either. ?? But referring to your Honda prologue Ev. I put about 200 miles a night on my vehicle. from what I am perceiving from your video, is that I will not be able to get enough charge on the prologue the next day for it to be ready for the next night of ten hours of driving. Will you clarify that information for me. T.Y.V.M.
@Aslash30426 күн бұрын
If you install a Level 2 charger ( 240v) that has a NEMA 14-50 plug, and can charge at 40 amps, you should be able to recharge overnight. The only vehicles that won’t recharge overnight with a Level 2 charger are Hummer EV, Silverado EV, and Sierra EV. They have twice as much battery capacity. To further clarify, a 14-50 plug will allow 40 Amps at 240volts, that’s 9.6kW of home charging speed. The Prologue has 85kWh. That tells me 8 hours charges the battery from 0-100%. I don’t recommend ever charging to 100% for an Uber driver or you will destroy your battery at an alarming rate. I also don’t recommend depleting the battery below 10%. So, in that scenario, 10-80% overnight, that’s 60% of 85kWh, or 5 and a half hours at 40 amps, 240v. I really hope this helps. Happy to clarify if you have any additional questions.

Also, he said gravity can fully charge it within 15 minutes? I don't think the ocean can actually charge that fast. It's just not possible even if the charger is 500.
@Aslash30425 күн бұрын
Thanks for the reply. The Gravity chargers will charge as fast as the Fisker can support. I doubt anyone pulls a rental into a charger in the middle of the city with exactly 0%. Also, I doubt Joulez is requiring customers to return cars at 100%. But, in the event that they did, which they don’t, you’re absolutely correct, it wouldn’t be 15 minutes.
