WTF @ minute 5:11 no kicks to a ground opponent, bunch of cronies. both the Gracies and the other guy too.
@lucaspatrick5424 жыл бұрын
teamronnylislaredo Yeah and at 6:06 the guy kicks his unconscious opponent in the back of the head after choking him. We all know what would happen if that was not a favored fighter.
@scarred1013 жыл бұрын
@chunkysoup42 that would be obvious as you cant legally have a true no holds barred match,and nobody would voluntarily compete in it.However ripping someones ear wont have a great effect during a fight and hard to do with sweat.Vale tudo is the closest you can get to reality without risking death

stand up fighters need to learn how to defend takedowns and submissions or they get beat up all the time. its funny when i was younger and i dont know mma i have think the only effective way to fight is striking. now i think totally different.
@nizz0matic3078 жыл бұрын
as long as there is a million rules and when you can strike, no kneeing downed opponents, no kicking them, can't punish someone for a failed double leg take down with a nice knee, can't hit their back or the back of their head. etc etc. MMA favors bjj due to its rules. bjj would still be useful with 0 rules but id would be way more modified than it is now. in a no rules fight if you missed ONE take down, you'd get your head and back hammered and your skull kneed in. the rush double leg take down is basically to go to move for wrestlers in MMA, because they literally can't be punished for missing. i feel like in a no rules fight, i wouldn't want to try that move at all, because if i miss, im fucked. in MMA i can just go for 12 in a row until one lands, which is how many fights go. most other take downs don't work that well when your opponent is kicking, punching, kneeing and elbow you, so 90% of the take downs are rushing crash tackle double legs. oh and by the way, don't crash tackle someone on concrete, you'll fuck up your knee just as bad as you fuck them up, so it only works on nice soft ground. in all honesty, i'll take a pure striking style for the street, with some take down defense.
@reidoj6017 жыл бұрын
Nizz 0matic but what striking style is the most effective for the street? i reckon maybe kyokushin, i wouldnt say mma striking because the gloves change the game a lot
