Why would freestyle wrestlers enter judo after wrestling being cut? The UWW would still hold the world championships and switching to another sport entirely would be a headache for athletes. The only reason upright Judo people fear wrestling is because they never learned complete Judo and focused on the new game...the lapel makes leg shots radically less effective than anatomical grappling and all you have to do is learn a couple basic freestyle counters...besides Judo already has the answer kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWfXl314nMaEe9Usi=xgcC0RLMPjzr0KS2

@BURGAWMMAАй бұрын
@krotekchech2988 Russian "style" judo is well understood and famous for pissing off the traditional Judo community... it's more like sambo and wrestling where we don't stand straight up and down and use traditional grips, also Russian Judo is famous for leg attacks. The different styles of Judo made the contest very interesting... if the ijf had their way they would sow the jackets together so you couldn't deviate from the traditional grips and they would only allow two or three big throws... that's what they dream of when they're holding their teddy bears at night meanwhile Judo becomes completely irrelevant as a martial art and so complicated it's impossible to introduce to new communities
