Well yes because of the fact events of 06 got erased, the fact remains they still happened (since Sonic Team has continously poked at it and even highlighting it with Silver and Blaze as though they worked together before or how Blaze even says in Gens after completing a mission will say if you go to talk to her she never imagined she would ever be back here again meaning she got her memory of the place returned) and so when Time Eater is messing with time places like Crisis City were already within the white void/space long before it started stuff.

Incorrect. 06 still exists in a separate timeline. And the Time Eater extracted Kingdom Valley and Crisis City from that one. And the silver fight isn’t the old one. Its an entirely new fight, and he fights sonic because he’s not sure if its really sonic or some sort of monster made by the time eater whos after the chaos emeralds. Point being 06 still exists whether yall like it or not

Time Eater managed to bring back Iblis when it somehow managed to bring Crisis City back There’s a pretty good chance Kingdom Valley was chosen so Shadow could face off against Mephiles. Shadow’s facing off against his past here, and if Black Doom is willing to dig up Biolizard then he’d absolutely bring Mephiles in to screw with Shadow

I thought the shadow part was only going to be about 3 hours. but now we have a new open zone and it's way too big to just be a hub world. This combined with the free DLC in Frontiers Sega is really convinced that the open zone is the future for Sonic

Actually, Kingdom Valley was quite the significant level to Shadow's lore, as it was there that Mephiles was released. In fact, Kingdom Valley is one level that's relevant to all stories in 06.

Kingdom valley does look a little better tbh. If you look at the castle the bricks are a lot more detailed. In the original 06 it looks more flat. The grass looks pretty bad though like it’s not improved from 06. Also if you can tell, the hubworld looks a lot like soleanna.

Ok Sega hear me out. "Inhales" if, and that's a big IF this game is gonna be amazing, then I have but one single request of one thing that always bothered me a lot, and that was the consuming of rings when super form, loosing 2-3 rings per second and 5-10 when boosting in the individual stages not counting time eater, it was so frustrating to try and finish a stage as super cause you'd need the double amount of rings just to play the stage at a decent pace. Please make it the classic 1 ring per second, and then 2-3 when boosting.
