The cool thing about Chaos Control is that the game timer ALSO stops when chaos control is active, giving you extra time to get your S rank.

1:18:28 This could be a stretch, but I believe this is a fun reference to the theme for the Game Over screen for SA1; the music, in the OST, is called, “Will You Continue?” It could also be a reference to the SA2 song “Advertise” (has different versions throughout the game) although this IS a billboard ad, so that last one is probably even less likely 😅 Great stream, btw! I love the fact that people have just been making memes of Black Doom sending Shadow to Radical Highway because it’s his favorite stage. They’re honestly so hilarious Also Chariii voicing Omega in Spanish is hilarious. Idk if it’s a bit on the channel but it’s hilarious.

I think the reason why the game explains that GUN detected a bio-signature on the ARK is that GUN detected it while Shadow was en route to the ARK. After all, according to the trajectory map from Dark Beginnings, Shadow had to ride the shuttle for a long while before disembarking. GUN may have relayed more info to Shadow in that time.

XD Played through Sonic Generations on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and now I play Sonic X Shadow Generations on PC and I already beat the first 3 Worlds with all S Rank missions and all red star rings. :3 Even started the new world. Don't ask me why I didn't start with the Shadow content first even tho I have played through Sonic Generations 3 times.

So I know you're not one for extrapolating, but I think the inconsistency of Shadow's reasoning for being on the ARK could be explained fairly simply. Shadow states in-game that he's been on the ARK for an hour, so he could've gone around the ARK and not found Black Doom, so Rouge could've talked Abe into doing a Bio-scan on Shadow's behalf (or Shadow asks Rouge to patch him in with Abe, either or), which would be relayed to Shadow confirming his premonition. This would prompt him to keep searching for an hour, making the latest and most reliable information the Bio-Scan rather than the premonition

or, much simpler solution, GUN detected something right before the events of Dark Beginnings ep 1. He was already planning to go to the ARK- and those visions made him believe Black Doom was the one who was detected, so he hurried up to get a spaceship. This fits the timeline and doesn't contradict anything.

@sthp5925 I mean... the only thing he said after the dream relating to that is "it all began on view of the ark" and "could he have survived?" It works with either interpretation really. I just think mine makes more sense personally

I've honestly had none of these problems with shadow generations when i played it. Either your pc sucks or the pc port sucks because the ps5 version ran perfectly.

Shadow Generations doesn't have the perfect run bonus, but chaos control absolutely ruins the ranking system. When you use chaos control the timer stops and since the time is all that matters in Shadow Generations for the rank, it's a free S rank on any stage to just spam it as soon as you get it.

Does it doe? In some stages so far it has felt necessary. Althought not mandatory, if you are skilled enough you can totally ignore it.

Wish this was recorded instead of streamed, nothing's more annoying then watching a streamer. Can't go 5 minutes without stopping the game to check the chat and spending 10 of it needlessly talking, but it's the *only* way you can watch the reactions and impressions from some of these people.

Well found some HUUUUGGGEEE issues with the sonic generations part...compared to the other time eater fights, this one is completely broken, characters won't shut up, switching is pointless, 5 hits and he's beaten, and there's no oomph at all! It's...boring. and don't get me started on the unlock Super Sonic skill. For no reason, literally NO REASON AT ALL, when Modern Sonic goes super and boosts...instead of depleting the boost meter like usual, Super Sonic depletes his rings for boosting. FAST DEPLETION. as in 50 rings = 5 seconds of Super fast depletion. They did an incredible job with generations in the past and with shadows part here! But fuck Sonic I guess.
