Excellent review. You have addressed all questions I had about 4K, LTE on the Reolink platform; also you filled in the blanks I had with EiotClub Sim Cards. Thank you.

8:40 That's a pretty good security system you ave there. ;) Not ideal for home use but for its intended purpose it looks like a good solution for remote locations.

Thanks for the review. This is a good option for those areas where you don’t have the option of WiFi. With that in mind it’s notification delay is somewhat forgivable but it would be great to see that cut in half. If I had a cabin in the woods or a large property to monitor this would be a decent option.

I like the 4G connectivity. If it was significant , I would prefer a single camera lens for longer battery life haha

Do I need to pay a cellphone plan to connect this camera? I have the trackmix but it does not connect well to the internet.

I like it can use 4G and solar charging. What’s the longest range it can see? Would it be able to see 500ft? Thanks!

8:55 Did they ever resolve the color/lighting difference issues between 2 cams? The left side looks much brighter than automatically darkens itself to match the right side. Very weird.
@LifeHackster2 жыл бұрын
Yes, they did. Seems like the left lens syncs with the right.

I have the same camera and EIOT sim card. I cannot get camera to connect to the network. I loaded the SIM card with a 24 GB 360 day plan. After several tries I ended up installing my Verizon SIM card for testing and the camera linked up and worked fine. Any suggestions?

Would multiple people be able to look at the display? We have an organization that has several members. It would be nice if each of them could view the display.

Hi great video but I think reolink should make the same camera but it needs wifi from your router so it is faster to load up when you go to live view

Hi, LifeHackster. I really love all of your surveillance camera videos. I want to mount two cameras on either side of a very large set of windows on the inside of my home, looking outside into the parking lot of my building. I wanted to get two Reolink bullet-style cameras, but I think maybe at night the LED lights around the camera lens will reflect and obscure the view. Do you (or anyone reading this) know of a camera where I can point it at an angle through a window, and still be able to record 24/7, like the Reolink PoE systems?
@LifeHackster2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the IR at night will reflect back and footage will be unusable. The best setup would be to put the cameras outside. If not, you can turn OFF the IR on the settings but you need to have good lighting outside at night for the camera to be able to see.
