Here's a little history for you. - In the Palestinian legislative election of January 2006, Hamas gained a large majority of seats in the Palestinian Parliament, defeating the ruling Fatah party. There hasn't been an election since then. That was 17 years ago. Well over 70% of the population living in the Gaza Strip today were not old enough to vote in that election. - "MAHA NASSAR: So about half, as you said, is under the age of 18. And 70% of the population living in the Gaza Strip are under the age of 30. So it is an overwhelmingly young population." - NPR Oct 18, 2023 - A 30 year old now, would have been 13 years old when the vote for Hamas was held. 70% of the population is younger than 30. If the US would stop vetoing the vote for the State of Palestine to gain full membership in the US then the WORLD could help stabilize the situation and get a government in Palestine back on track. I'm all for a UN peacekeeping force being moved into the State of Palestine to force out the Israelis and protect the Palestinians from the Israelis. The main problem is that the Israelis have been bullying the Palestinian since there was a State of Israel. The people committing war crimes and genocide are only able to do so because they are protected, supported, and provided with weapons by others. I think the world wants to stop the situation, but American and many of its allies are all for the racist treatment and killings of Palestinians by the Zionist Israeli Regime.

Egypt is already currently hosting 9 million refugees from around the world and around 100k are Palestinians. Over 2k of them came in just between November and February. They do allow Palestinians to cross the border, they just have their own immigration process like everybody else does. And they have no interest in facilitating Israel's desire to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian territories, and to delegitimize their claim to statehood in doing so. Which is the stance of basically all of Israel's neighbor states. Meanwhile, Israel's military has long since drafted plans for pushing the Gazans into Egypt and setting up refugee camps in Sinai for them. Because the Likud party has no interest in the sovereignty or authority of anyone but Israel. So yeah, "why don't the Arab nations just go along with Israel's plans for a mass ethnic cleansing!?" Where do you get the idea that using a 2,000 pound bunker buster bomb inside Gaza is a war crime? It was obvious what bombs were used when the first pictures of an area appear. Those refugee camp areas had 3, 4 and 6 story concrete buildings with underground complexes built to launch rockets. The deep crater is evidence of a bunker buster bomb, which are designed to penetrate before exploding. The shock wave is suppose to collapse underground structures. If you wanted to do damage, you would detonate the bomb in the air, not buried under the ground. Does Hamas still have hostages and are launching rockets, though very few are left? Tell them to release the hostages and ceasefire, see how that works!
