@@mherzog7 Yes I remember now. How about trying a Cuckoo? They are my favorites. Most clockmakers will not touch a cuckoo. Too time consuming

great clock and rebuild, did you try pulling out the day set [to the right] and turning it should only move the numbers

Yes, you should have noticed I held the stem and tightened the knob so you could turn it to change the date in either direction.

One way to check is by setting it to 28 Feb and if it goes to 29 then 1 March, it will be perp, so even more exciting@mherzog7

It will not do that. You have to advance the month manually, and do the same with the date from the 28th to the 1st.
