@@mherzog7 Yes I remember now. How about trying a Cuckoo? They are my favorites. Most clockmakers will not touch a cuckoo. Too time consuming

great clock and rebuild, did you try pulling out the day set [to the right] and turning it should only move the numbers

Yes, you should have noticed I held the stem and tightened the knob so you could turn it to change the date in either direction.

Is the cal work perpetual?

I imagine so, as long as the motor does not burn out.

One way to check is by setting it to 28 Feb and if it goes to 29 then 1 March, it will be perp, so even more exciting​@mherzog7

It will not do that. You have to advance the month manually, and do the same with the date from the 28th to the 1st.
