I appreciate the information they provide. I do wish they had done a troubleshoot video. Ignitor, valve, or some unknown safety device? My lower oven won’t light but ignitor appears intact. I’ll change it because it’s easy…

For everyone here…the kitchenaid double ovens have a major flaw in that the electric igniters go bad every 2 years. Also the motherboard (behind the buttons) also goes bad. These ovens are faulty and kitchenaid should source higher quality parts and repair for free. Will never buy kitchenaid again! The igniter is an easy DIY fix for about $60 but its a hassle if you are not handy or elderly. Hiring a repair person could cost $400.

you don't show how to replace the igniter .. specifically , where does the wire fee to .. does it go to the back?

Is there any reason that the valves good bad often, our stove has gone through 5 in nine years?
