I had one of these moments too this weekend. Tried to speed up but pulled myself back to take my time for the money side. I still don't think I'd have the patience for body work. We'll find out some day haha! Oh my! You had to hammer the putty knife and it still wasn't the best tool - that's how much filler there was. I'm no body man, but I know you're not really supposed to go past the thickness of a dime with filler!

Hahahahaha! Butkus had surgery so he had to wear an inflatable around his neck so he would heal! Good catch. I was wondering if someone would notice!

Notice that the bondo was directly on the metal on the skirt. Lots of videos including yours, people are placing epoxy primer then filler, does it mater or make a difference?

Hey Ian! Thanks for watching! Great question and also a heated topic! Old school guys have been putting it directly on the metal for years and most tech sheets recommend you do that as well. A more modern approach says that having the epoxy down first gives a bit more corrosion protection. Truth is both ways work and I do it both ways.
