I love watching the RR corner of the car. There is a reflection there that comes into focus every time he wet coats it, then it drys and gets blurry looking, then coats it again and it reflects great. PS, How does that fanny pack work, is there a super duty filter setup in there? If so, that would seem like a good medium point between just a filter mask and a fresh air system.

Hey Jon thanks for the comment and the view! Yes that is a a filter on my back. The system is called 3m papr painters kit. I did a video on it a while back. Works incredibly well.

What are you using for a draft to pull the fumes/overspray out when your painting in the garage like that? I shot a bumper in my garage and ended up having over-spray everywhere, floor was sticky, such a mess!

I have a cheap exhaust fan set up that pulls the air through. Works well. Thanks for watching!

If it's cheap and it's working even better. I was using a small box fan, just wasn't good enough I guess.

Hello there nice video, have you had problems with G2 not drying or gummy top coat before it will sand ? Iam going crazy cant figure it out. Thanks

No I havent experienced that. Are you sure you put in the appropriate amount of hardener?

Yeah one tube in a quart been using this product for years. I had to take the top layer off with 80 grit before it would sand. Maybe it was to cold about 60. I thought about doubeling the hardner but couldnt get a good answer from the paint store or Evercoat

Ratsnest Hotrods😂, I completely understand. Sisters old model A had many rusted out panels and cracked and badly welded fender repairs that destroyed the wire edge. Been replacing all of that. She can’t understand why it has been taking so long! People that has never done anything like this has no comprehension how much time it takes! Take care and I look forward to your videos. Tom

About how long did the 2 Omni spray layers and featherfill layers take total? I'm trying to plan how long this will take for me.

What's up MZ! I would allow for 3 to 4 hours total. A little more for cooler temperatures and a little less for hot temperatures. Hope that helps

so I keep reading you need to let the epoxy primer cure then sand it before the feather fill primer. Is this not the case?

No that is not the case! Dont do that. The only time you ever sand epoxy primer is if you wait too long to spray the next layer. Usually you have 72 hours to spray over it.

So I bought epoxy primer, but I was also going to use some zinc chromate primer over my treated rust spots. I cant fund much information on this. Just from a few guys who have said it help up long term. Would you ever do this or just treat the rust/epoxy prime over it?

I would treat the rust and spray epoxy over it. Just because I dont know how the epoxy would react to the zinc primer.

Ha! I just heard you say your colorblind! And your an Electrician, not exactly a common combination to say the least! Did you use aircraft stripped or something to get the original paint off!
