Guys I use some threaded bar in two of the bellhousing bolt holes, it takes the weight helps with alignment as you wiggle it in to place. Once in place put in a couple of bellhousing bolts then just unwind the threaded bar and do up the rest of the bellhousing bolts. It make life so much easier, you can thank me later 😂

Anyone going to appreciate robs strength there? Not only making it look like the gearbox weighs nothing, but lifting it awkwardly, and then lifting it effectively it above his head while stood/bent awkwardly! I struggle to lift one of these up to my chest without destroying my back! 😂

Really enjoyed that chaps, an enjoyable variation on five figure Germanics! Great team work and savvy problem solving. You literally made light work of lifting and fastening a big old chunk of mostly steel into a tight spot, I'd have needed a second pump jack plus ratchet straps and taken five times as long to do it half as well. I love the variety of content, keep up the good work.

I doubt very much Rob & Chris would get involved with Saving Salvage channel. He has no idea what he's doing, the inner wing he botched on that VW a while back, where he welded up the crumple zone because he wasn't capable of replacing the entire panel 😂. I stopped watching him after that. Certainly wouldn't want to have a crash in that car.

Rob, I have a double herniation on my lower back because of lifting gearboxes and other things car related, it has not been an easy journey as I am in pain all the time and I am going to have surgery. Looking at you lifting that box made me feel you need more support in lifting that. I am sure it does not feel it but it only takes one time and it can damage your back like I did. Love the videos, good luck with all of them and keep safe!

I know of a 2022 Focus 155bhp 1.0 ecoboost mild hybrid mk4.5 which won't got into 2nd gear. It is now stuck at the Ford dealer waiting for a part on a slow boat from China. Luckily it is still in warranty. There is three police cars also at the dealer with the same fault.
